RE: Small trailer-some might call a Teardrop
I love my teardrop,,, you can't stand up in it and cooking is done outside. But I prefer being outside during the day, if it is raining I can put up a tarp or drive to see local sites. I have taken it where anything taller would not fit and longer would have gotten stuck and I tow it behind a VW Beetle Bug.
Not for everyone but love mine.

Not here, love my teardrop trailer, small and cozy and goes anywhere. My little car pulls it no problem. Plan on using this setup til I get where I can't get in it easily then I will upgrade, thinking 13 foot Scamp.

I work in a hotel and if my husband would go camping I would never stay in another hotel. No matter how nice and well maintained it only takes 1 guest to bring in bedbugs (ewwww shiver).
So I have my little teardrop and go camping by myself now and again and we when take a trip together we do hotels.

I don't know,,, my little teardrop fits in my garage. But if I was going to be storing my RV in a storage facility I'd make sure it was insured. I also have no idea how you could make them any more secure but bet they look into it.

It does have sleeping quarters but is really a party bus.
All I know is it pulled into a campground I am at, after careful admiration I'd be outta there.

I frequent the dog park right behind the storage place and you can see a couple of the trailers. Made me sad to think of all those plans to go camping literally up in smoke.

Years ago my folks had their trailer broken into, 24 hour security. It was summer so there was food in the fridge but not much to steal so they threw pickle juice ketchup and mustard all over, stole the radio and busted all the speaker other misc mischief. People have too much time on their hands.

So I have been following this pretty closely, timeing was perfect as I was thinking of signing up with AAA. I don't have a MH just my little car and little trailer but traveling alone this seems like a good idea.
It looks like one is as good as another, and like anything else the service depends on the person coming out.

What about ticks? Fans and smoke don't seem to bother them much and they carry diseases too and are just kinda disgusting. I would be interested in not using chemicals but figure it is better than ticks. Now here in MN I have been bitten by skeeters even using DEET based proiducts.
