First time using water pump...advice please

Hello friends... I'll be camping for the first time in a state park with electric hookup but no water hookup and need tips and instructions on how to use the fresh water pump. I've never used it before and want to check it out before leaving. Any videos you can recommend would be a huge help as I learn by visuals the best! Lacy

Oven door glass shattered....

Has this happened to you? I took a cake out of the oven, closed the door and the whole black front glass on the door shattered into a gazillion pieces!! I would imagine I'll have to get the entire door replaced and not just the glass, right? Has this happened to anyone else out there? Lacy

RE: Do you name your motorhome?

Mine has been Lucy since the day I got her! And she's definitely a girl...pretty inside and out, getting up in years and I swear she hates it as much as I do! Last night I called her a beast and immediately felt remorseful. You don't call something you love names like that. And...when I have to leave her on the storage lot after a trip, she gets a kiss on her big fender and a promise that I'll be back. OK, call me crazy, but owning a motor home has been a lifelong dream of mine and can't help but get attached to her! Lacy

Help! Quick! LP gas problems...FIXED IT..thanks!

Leaving in the morning. Turned fridge on this afternoon. Freezer cold, fridge not....lights are out. Check light does not come on. Auto light stays on for a second then goes off, goes back on, then off. Never goes to gas. Checked the stove....burners lit, then went out, could not re-light. I'm thinking the LP isn't getting through the lines. What do you guys think? Sure could use your expertise right now. It's getting dark out, we're packed and ready to go, and now this!!! (now doesn't THAT scenario sound familiar?!!! Thanks, guys....and gals.... Lacy UPDATE.......Well, gee, Ray....that wasn't very nice "nothing like waiting..."...but you're forgiven...circumstances prevented me from getting the motor home from the storage area until this afternoon. (we're only going for the weekend by the way) OK.....thanks so much for all your help guys!! Turned out to be low house batteries. I started her up and let her run for about 20 minutes and all is well. My husband is disabled so all these little problems fall on my shoulders. It was my idea to buy this charming bucket of bolts and I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought it. I actually enjoy learning as much as I can about it and know that when there's a problem....I'll know the next time that I can handle it. It's always something but so far it's never been anything major. It's nice to know I can always turn to the forum for answers to my questions! Thanks again to all of you....even you, Ray! LOL Lacy

Best canvas sealant for pop-up camper?

My sister has a pop-up that is leaking along the seam near her bed. What do you recommend for a good sealant? Lacy

Replacing front cockpit seats....

I have a chance to buy a pair of new captain's seats for my motor home from friends who parting out their old motor home. These are Flexsteel seats purchased 10 years ago. My question to you is: Do you think these will fit on my existing mounting plate? My old seats are also Flexsteel. However, my driver's seat is power, the new seat is not. I can live without the power since it's only forward and back so I'm thinking that won't matter much to me but just wondering about adapting the new seats to the old plates. Lacy
