RE: Shore Line Extender

I would save the $$ and just use propane for the Frig. It does not use the much propane to cool the Frig. I do this most of the time unless I need lights in it for a while.

RE: Seaswift Inflatable Boat

I have a Seaeagle Kayak that I really like. It is made solid and handles good plus it's made in the good old U.S.A. I bought a pump from Wal-Mart that inflates on both the up and down stroke so inflation is quick. They make a variety of inflatables but are a little pricey. I have seen used ones one ebay and Craig's list. Good luck with your purchase.

RE: Best Electric heater?

In my neck of the woods here in So Cal you can now find Vornado heaters at Costco at about $39 each. That is a great price plus you get the warranty from Costco.

RE: Toyota Tundra and a 5'ver.

Wow, that a low blow to us older folks. No matter how you look at it a 200lb hitch is awkward and heavy to lift no matter who you are.

RE: Tube TV draws too much from inverter ONLY on startup...

Am I missing something. If you are using a generator why are you using an inverter? Can't you just plug it in to a 120v outlet?

RE: A/C Help

What size is your a/c? If it is 13,500 you8 may want to move up to a 15,000 unit. I would think that a 30 amp service could handle the change.

RE: Anyone use solar power or other alt-energy?

I have one 100wt panel and that keeps my batteries charged when not plugged into 110 and I can run my TV, Sat Dish, and lights without problems. I also carry a Honda E2000 for when I want to use the Microwave or have some 110 but not enough for the A/C. I would like to have to panel and maybe four 6v batteries down the road.

RE: Installing Quickie Flush

You are not pushing anything out, the water is doing that. What you are doing is washing down the sides and the sensors. The water rushing out of the tank will suck everything out. After I drain my tank I fill it back up with the quick flush as close as possible to full and let her go. After it is empty then I run the quick flush to was the sides and the sensors. I also use a clear section of tube right out of the dump valve so I can see when the water is clear, not pleasant but helpful. I have been using the sewer solution for about a year now and love it. Clean Clean Clean and no stinky hose to deal with anymore. It is not cheap but worth every $$$.
