RE: traveling I77/ I64 in a B Class...white knuckles????

Piece of cake. Have driven it numerous time in our 40' DP toing full size pickup with handicap scooter in truck. Total weight approx, a little over 42,000 pounds. Use your engine brake rather than foot brake. Have U.S.Gear brake system in tow.

RE: Oceanside RV campgrounds Maine coast

All expensive and tight sites. To see all the great little towns and shops you are better off in a 27' class C.

RE: Florida suggestions

Spend a few hundred more and go further south. Tampa gets COLD
Draw a line across FL through the middle of Lake Okeechobee and stay in a park below there. It will cost more
check ot Riverside RV Resort in Arcadia, FL, should fit your wants and desires.

RE: Question about front television in class A.

Google: Focal Woods in Nappanee., Indiana. Carlyle Lehman. He can replace your old head bumper with a flat screen, usually 32"
Cost: He'll ask for measurements or what you have now then tell you what to buy at Best Buy, which is cheaper and drive out to Nappanee, Indiana and he can install it in less than a day. He's an hones Amish Craftsman. instalation cost is according to how much cabinetry work he has to do.

RE: How do you minimize the Cdn. to U.S. $ service charges?

We do everything witth cash and quite often get a discount.
Open an account at Bank of America and get an ATM card and or debit car. They have more banks and ATMs than any bank in U.S. They have a working relationship with Bank Serfin in MX and Scotia Bank in Canada. No fee for you when you use them and the retailer you buy from will love cash over credict card as he gets hung with charges on every swipe. Even Walmart prefers cash.
The best card is the one with George Washinton picture on it.

If you don't have one, open an account at Scotia Bank in Canada. They have a working relationship with 'Bank of America'. Get a debit card and replenish your cash at Bank of America or their ATM'S/ you do NOT want to use Canadian cards of any sorts, they hang you with all kinds of fees. NO FEE FROM BOA OR SCOTIA WHEN YOU USE THIS SERVICE

RE: Backing up towing 4 down

On a level surface I can back my 40' diesel with GMC Sierrs in tow with no problem. If you have not turned front wheels since you pulled into your site; put coach in reverse, keep foot lightly on brake, stick both of your arms in the air, do not touch the steering wheel, the coach and tow will back out on the track they came in.
The ferry loader at Newfoundland tought me this and I have done it several times.

RE: Installing Hardwood Floor

Three years ago my wife and a friend tore out all the carpet in our 40' Dutch Star in one day, bought the hard wood laminated flooring the next at Home Depot and installed it in one and a half days. It is beautiful and has held up well.
I would visit a large dealer who has a similar coach in stock and take a look it. Remember it is free floating, interlocking. DO NOT GLUE OR NAIL DOWN

SAULT STE MARIE, MI

If you ever have a problem in this area go to Welch RV. We have been fulltiming 365/24/7 for 8 years and 100K miles and have never had better, quality immediate service; fairly priced.
Side radiator fan through stone into radiator , puncturing. Third time in 8 years. Call Spartan they recommended replace core. Welch had it here in 24 hours from Spartan and installed in less than 8 hours.
POOR DESIGN ON SPARTAN'S PART TO HAVE ENGINE FAN BLOWING PEBBLES ETC THROWN UP BY COACH WHEEL INTO RADIATOR. NEW CORE ALONE WAS $2,200
WILL BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN TOMORROW THANKS TO WELCH

RE: I knew tires were expensive but this is crazy

Plan on about $500 per tire for that Michellin. Do not have them spin balanced. Use EZ POWDER PACKETS OR SIMILAR PRODUCT AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO BALANCE AGAIN.

RE: Proper oven operation?????

Go to local tile store. Buy two tiles, usually 18" square will fit in your oven. Lay one on bottom of the oven and the other on the baking shelf. Place your cake or whatever on the tile on the baking shelf. It comes close to having a stone oven. Keeps heat from single bar in bottom of oven evenly dispersed. Just leave stones there all the time. Easily replaced if one breaks. Bon Apetite
