RE: I'm so confused! Apple IDs, iTunes, iCloud for a family...

You don't need one apple ID. Any purchase can be shared with any devise that's synced to that computer.
You are absolutely right.

RE: I'm so confused! Apple IDs, iTunes, iCloud for a family...

We use one Apple ID as a family to make any iTunes purchases. We sync a iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPod touch and iPod click all with one laptop. That way we can "share" purchases between devices.

RE: iPad 1 and iOS 5.0

Did the iOS 5 update on both the iPad 1 & 2. The 2 went off without a hitch, while the 1 had to be synced and updated a couple of times. When all was said and done, iOS5 is great! Just being able to backup the iPads to iCloud was worth it. I also like the tabbed Safari browser as opposed to having to toggle between screens. Overall, very pleased.

RE: It's here! 2012 Jayco Seneca finally is on Jayco's Website.

Spent some quality time in a few Senecas today at the Pomona RV show here in Southern California. I left very impressed. I think the Freightliner Chassis is an excellent match and the house is typical high quality Jayco stuff. At the end of the day though, couldn't justify parting with our Greyhawk on the Kodiak chassis.

Resealing Dicor Sealant on Roof

I was up on the roof of our coach the other day doing my yearly maintenance and noticed that the Dicor sealant has some sizeable cracks on the roof accessories including the front cap. At some point, I would like to use Eternabond tape on the front cap. However, I think I would like to go ahead and just reseal the accessories using Dicor lap sealant. I do have a couple of questions:
1. Is it necessary to remove all of the existing sealant?
2. If I choose not to remove the old sealant, what is the procedure to reapply the new one?
a. Remove any loose sealant.
b. Clean old sealant with acetone.
c. When I apply the new Dicor Lap Sealant, do I start at edges and "puddle" it on top?
Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

Was picking up some gear in the MH at the storage lot and found some mouse poop in the drawers...ugh!!! Laid down some traps and sticky pads. We'll see.

RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Spent most of the day "Red Max-ing" the front and rear caps on our coach. Our MH faces West in the storage lot, so that front cap takes a beating! The hardest part of the day was scrubbing all of the black streaks with the 3M scrubbie and BKF off the rear end. Whew! That was a workout.
Anyways, they both turned out great. I wish I would have taken some before and after pictures.
I am curious as to how long the "shine" will last.
