Cabinet wood swelling

I live in the Seattle area, so covered my RV with a large plastic tarp to protect it from our messy weather while winterized. I check if every few weeks and keep air drying (charcoal) containers inside, changing often. Upon checking it this week I found that the dampness has caused my cupboard doors to swell and they are falling apart!!!
I brought the RV home yesterday, and have 2 heaters running. Will the wood shrink? It appears that it was glued at the seams. I am hoping it will shrink and I can reglue them. Has anyone else had this happen?
The condensation inside is running down the windows - and it is pouring outside so I can't open the windows...HELP!

Towing miles

How do you prevent towed miles from adding to the odometer of the toed vehicle?
Would you all agree that a US unified brake system is the easiest?
Thanks!

Braking System

Thanks to the advice on the RV forum, I think I will go with the Unified Brake System to tow my Honda Fit.
It sounds the easiest! My question is = while being towed does all the towed miles add to the car's odometer?
Yikes!

Braking system

Do I need to add a braking system to tow my Honda Fit with my 24 food Four Winds Citation RV? I will use a Blue Ox Alladin tow bar set up.
My neighbor, who has been RVing for years, said that I do not need one.
Thanks!

Towing my car to Texas

I am a single lady...I am considering towing my Honda Fit with my 25 foot Four Winds RV from WA. to TX....I know I will not be able to back up, but what other problems might I encounter (besides using more gas, and using extra caution when passing)? Is there any tow bar that is easier than others to use, since I am an older female?
Since you asked....it will be an ongoing thing...me, RV and Honda Fit traveling all over...God willing!
I just need to know the easiest way to do it ...

Awning Question

A man who works at a RV Lot told me that you should never leave an awning up if you leave the campsite...Well, as single woman, it takes time and considerable effort to get my awning up. There is no way I can take it down every time I take a walk, run into town, etc.
Do you all take yours down as he suggests?

Tire pressure

An employee at a well known tire store told me that I should keep my air pressure at 70psi, even tho the tire is rated for 80psi. He said they expand while traveling and with 80psi it could cause a blow-out! I had never heard this before. Comments please!

RE: TV Reception while on the road...

If I bought an indoor Digital TV antenna for the TV with built in tuner, would it help?

TV Reception while on the road...

I was told today if I buy a TV with a built-in tuner I would get 5 to 10 channels with no antenna while traveling - just turn it on. Is this true? All I get now on the old TV in there is the DVD's I feed to it!
