RE: How to rewire 110 v fixtures?

Do I understand that the wires coming out of the ceiling are 12v and your fixture is a 110v lamp or the other way around ?

Suburban Furnace Problem

Furnace will run until desired temp, cut off and won't come back on. After turning heat switch off and then returning to heat it will sometimes come back on but most often won't come back on at all. I pulled the furnace out, blew any dust off, checked the sail switch which seemed to move freely and checked it with a tester to make sure it was ok, which it was. Replaced the furnace and turned it on and it started up and was heating. I turned it off and then back on and the same problem again. It won't come back on.
Forgot to say that I can hear it click to ignite when I'm outside by the furnace and still no flame.
Any ideas??

RE: Leaking Shower

Many 5ers have a small door on the outside wall. If not then start with letting the water run down the drain for a while without someone taking a shower and look for a leak. If not then stand in the shower and run more water around your feet because sometimes the weight of someone will cause the pipes to press apart. Also the water could be coming from the shower faucet behind the wall. Good luck.

RE: Water heater relief valve or thermostat ???

I would start by replacing the T&P valve. (Temp & pressure) it's the easyiest to do. Usually when the valve opens because the water is getting to hot it "blows" open.

RE: CO2 Sensor

My Dad had a Tioga and if the detector was off or not working then nothing which used propane would work, like the stove, heater, etc.

RE: What Size Rig?

I pull my 14,000 lb 5er with a F350 SRW. Never felt like I needed a DRW truck even in high winds. This is my only mode of transportation and I don't like the ride when not hooked up with a DRW truck

RE: Landing gear starting to make noise

Depends on your jack system. On mine the motor and cluch/gear ass. was all one piece and there was no way to "check" anything. I just went ahead and replaced the whole thing. I think some systems require grease or oil in the gear box. Google your system and see if you can get any info

RE: New Fiver

Sales people will tell you everything can be fixed just to make the sale. After the sale you find yourself dealing with a different department that hasn't promissed you anything. Find a brand you like and then do a search for their dealers. Good luck!!

RE: installing bracket for tv

This is hard to follow and you would need to resize your picture for it to show up. Without much info I would say to spread the weight of your TV over as much of an area as possable. Example would be to take a piece of plywood as large as would fit in the area and attach it to the wall and then attach the tv arm to the plywood. This is probably not much help but I hate to see questions on the forum go un-answered

RE: pullrite 16k question

Not real sure what you mean by "plastic blocks between the way tubes". If your talking about the 1 white plastic block up front between the tubes, then this is just there to keep tension on the hitch when your not hooked up. It keeps the hitch from spinning around while driving. My hitch is 6 years old and maybe you have a newer one with a different set-up.

RE: Winter Weather

I've spent 6 winters in my "Artic package 5 er" and I can tell you its not like living in a stick house. #1 The bigest problem is the that the floors are cold.
#2 U get use to it. #3 Get the right clothes. My wife and I wore thermal underware, heavy socks, house shoes and had plenty of blankets to wrap up in. If you like setting around with the thermostat set at 70 deg at home (stick house) wearing a T shirt during the winter you will find it doesent work in an RV. Don't worry, you'll make it like the rest of us!
