RE: Breakdown - how would you handle it

With any type of problem, I pull off the road safely and quickly. Call for a tow, and sit back and have a cold ice tea. Agreed, safely and quickly -

RE: Mail

I file a change of address to a friend, he puts it a box till I return. I also pay all my bills on line. Junk mail gets thrown out. The Notices to appear and my arrest warrents all get put in cirrcular file and every once in awhile I'll stop by the Post Office to see if I've made Americas Top Ten. JM2Cents Bill

RE: Hot Water Heater Drain Plug

I personnaly have found teflon tape not to be as good as most would think. I preferr to use the teflon pipe dope, comes in a little tooth paste type tube and is applied over the threads in place of the tape. JM2Cents Bill

RE: Yellowstone or Grand Canyon

Yellowstone, before it blows itself up...... on the serious side, Yellowstone is at least a five day stay. the GC is a three to four day drive. Both should be seen but Yellowstone is has it's own wonders well worth the trip. JM2Cents Bill

RE: la mesa rv,san diego

A friend of mine purchased his unit 3 years ago and found several small problems with unit. They hired a guy some 100 miles away to comeand fix his problem (one blind string broke). His other issues were taken care shortly there after. I decided to buy my unit from them and brought it back a week later for a few punch list items, and was well taken care of. There top gun as far as I'm concerned. I'm from New York but find there always will to talk and do very helpfull. Just my two Cents. and purchased mine in Yuma. Bill

RE: Anyone pulling a 4 door Jeep?

mowermech, is on the button on this. They arn't required, but and a big but I know I reduced my stopping distance by 45 feet or so at 30mph. Pulling a Jeep with 4700lbs. As far as I'm concerned thats a worth while investment, when trying to make a panick stop. JM2Cents. Bill

RE: Anyone pulling a 4 door Jeep?

Yes there should be brakes, and a break-a-way system. There are several options since there several different systems. The Brute Ready Brake is prohaps more econimcale then most.

RE: Bent my Happijack leg drat!

Just a little tip when trying to straighten, buy bending. Fill the tube with sand and pack it as tight as possible. Then try bending it back. The sand should help keeping it from kinking. JM2Cents Bill
