RE: Need narrow cutlery tray

SprawlMart has drawer items you can lock together to form whatever size you need. Look at their aisle where all the tupperware junk is sold.

RE: Ford V10 Tuners

I was a bit reluctant at first to go with a Tune but I separated the wheat from the chaff and really decided that what I wanted was some better shifting patterns off the tranny. I am not expecting any change in MPG, just comfort. One issue I can't stand is when the tranny downshifts and the RPM's jump into the 4's and 5's. I have been told the 5star tune will remedy this. I'll find out soon as I have a trip planned to try it all out. Hi All. Just something for you to check out before you buy anything for your Motorhome, Yes, Tunner/Programmers do a great job on Diesels, I have fist hand expereince. Gto grat performance and more MPG easily. But I also did a Chip on a Gasser, and it did improve performace some, but no increase what so ever in MPG. Now if your looking at shifing better, then check into a "Banks Trans Command", for your Transmission. I have the "Banks Trans Command" on our 460 EFI Motorhome. It did make a pretty good differance. It doesn't shift as often, espically at the slightest hill comming up. The shifts are much firmer and quicker, not rough and doesn't slam into gears. Also helps to keep the Torque Converter Locked up better. This might be a better way to go for your Transmisson needs. Worth checking out at least. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & JillNo transcommand for the 5 speed, 06 and later.

RE: Batwing rotating adjustment fell apart

Can anyone recommend which parts should be carried for this antenna? Any common parts that break often? Thanks.

RE: Should c-pap settings be reevaluated occasionally?

Lots of good advice here on a wide range of topics, but regarding your specific question, yes and no is the answer. No, IF you are actively following your own results. No, IF you check your blood ox level perhaps monthly or quarterly. Yes, if you are clueless about what CPAP is doing for you and you rely on your doctor to pick your machine and set the pressure settings. I ended up with CPAP because I was desatting to the 70's at night. Now I can wear a pulse ox meter all night, which I do probably quarterly, to see what my level is. Now I don't go below 92% with an AHI of around 2.

RE: Concerning Wheel Chair Lift

There is the Braun platform lift (the lift folds up into the RV so you will see stowed), the Braun UVL (the lift is under vehicle so you won't see anything when it is stowed), both of which require a modified door opening or a seaparate door. A superarm lift which hooks onto the wheelchair and lifts it up through a standard door is also an option but there are certain requirements for the mounting of the actual mechanism, such as 4" next to the door available (if I recall correctly). Does she have to stay in the chair? There are some "people" type lifts, if that is what you are asking about, if so, I think coachlift is it. Price wise, the cheapest is probably the superarm, then regualar braun, then UVL. If you look around, you can find the lifts available used sometimes. Good luck. And regarding the wheelchair van, I was able to tow our grand caravan without any issues. My Ford chassis had weight capacity available to tow the van, but not much more.

RE: Norcold recall failure

Pirate, I guess you do not understand what the recall box does. It's a bandaid to hopefully shut the refer down before it burns the RV up. These recall boxes are junk, just like the Norcolds and have a high failure rate which shuts down the unit when nothing is wrong. All that's wrong with the OP's is the recall box (alternator), not the refer (engine). OK?OK.

RE: Chassis air conditioning (ford)

My 06 compressor went out too. Actually, it was spewing oil all over the place, and I opted to just change it out. My dash system will freeze us out. Get yours to a good repair place.

RE: Engine cover gasket replacement

On my ex-97 Suncruiser I took the gasket to the local auto joint and found an exact replacement. I also put 2 layers of insulation on the inside of the doghouse cover. The latch on mine was a rather large allen wrench. PS: The new gasket and insulation didn't stop some of the heat from escaping out and cooking my foot. I think it's the nature of the beast.

RE: Norcold recall failure

Are you considering the Amish option to Norcold cooling unit issues? Kind of like buying a new engine because you had 2 alternator failures. DougDoug, I don't understand. Could you expound on your post? Thanks.

RE: Ford 5R110 Pan Drop INFO

This and this are just a couple that discuss the LV. I am surprised that your dealer didn't know about LV. That's all I use. Did you replace the external filter?

RE: What to see and do in Asheville, NC?

If you can afford it, Biltmore is ok for a quick see, bucket list item. Don't waste your time or money on their other money-suckers such as the winery or Antler Village.

RE: Ford 5R110 Pan Drop INFO

Get a new Ford dealer. I posted tons of info on this already, in a topic you were posting in. If you choose to ignore it, so be it. It's your rig, do what you want.

RE: Michelin XZE vs XRV Tires

I have XZE all the way around. Nice tires. Smooth ride. Sure wouldn't want to use them in snow or excessive rain.

RE: Height of Carports and RV's?

Go with most height. I can crawl around on my roof, comfortably, while it is under the cover. It is really nice in the summer to not have the hot sun beating on me while working.

RE: Internet (again)

Hi, You may want to look at this: Cradlepoint ctr35 It definitely has a usb port--but I don't know if it would support tethering. Ask at the 3g store?I was told the CTR-35 would not support my phone.

RE: Internet (again)

A new phone.I like my phone. I do not have to pay a monthly data fee with it. When I want to tether, I just go online, turn it one, and when done camping, turn it back off. Find me a modem or something that will do that, and I may switch.

Internet (again)

I need ya'll to take a look at the setup I want to have. I sometimes will tether my LG VX8360 (Verizon) into a Cradlepoint CTR-500.. I sometimes will use WIFI using a Jefa Tech repeater/router. I will have separate antennas of course for each router. My question is - Is there currently one device on the market that will perform both functions so I don't have to have 2 routers? Thanks.
