RE: Talladega Speedway

Hwy 77 is good road, traveled many times. They have been improving it over the years and you'll see both 2 and 4 lanes. Watch the speed in Rainbow City...!

RE: Newmar Tiffin or Winnegabo

Tiffin or Newmar, compare floorplans, features and cost. Go for it with either brand.

RE: where to stay in dallas

Considering where you are going and heading to, I would do Plantation Place in Sunnyvale.

RE: Ceiling vent covers

We use the soft, pillow type that is covered in something similar to sheep wool that fit up into the vent. Works fine in summer and winter, you can buy them pretty cheap at Camping World. Too lazy to look up the actual name of the item.....

Mississippi Gulf Coast

Planning a mid-February visit to the Mississippi coast and would like some suggestions for a clean campground with level sites. Doesn't need to be a resort, but a good place to base for a few days of exploring. Thanks in advance... Phil & Stephie

RE: Camping in parking lots on the LV Strip

We are in Vegas for our first visit as I type. After seeing the strip, I wouldn't dry camp down there for nothing. Too many homeless people everywhere. If you're coming to Las Vegas and can't afford a safe campground, stay away. I value my life and my coach more than $35/day or so it would take for a hopefully safe campground. Any yes, I stay many nights in Wal-Marts, but not on the strip.

RE: Misty River Campground, Townsend Tn

Misty River okay, but not anywhere close to Seymour. Try Creekside in Pigeon Forge.

You can find some listed in the classified ads in the FMCA magazine, Family Motorcoaching. They will be setup and ready to rock.

RE: Diesel fuel additives, how many use it?

I've experienced algea in my fuel twice, mainly because our coach sits TOO much and not driven regularly. Began using biobor additive this past June and so far, knock on wood, I haven't been on the side of the road changing fuel filters since. Of course that could happen on the next outing, but I'm trying to avoid the problem. Do what makes you feel comfortable.
