Brake Light Out

2006 Coachmen Class C, on Ford 450, this weekend found that the brake lights on the passenger side were out in the back. Tonight went to Pep Boys and got some new bulbs and i still have brake lights out in the back. Replace the 2 bulbs for brake and one bulb for blinker,,,
I'm guessing I have electrical issues?

RE: How bad did I mess up my Jeep?

yes, I did have the transmission in neutral and the key in the right position for disabling the steering lock.
so maybe I'm OK then?

RE: Weatherproof Cover, Tyvek or Poly

I've used an ADCO cover on my Class C 29ft for two winters now. I don't cinch it down so tight that it rubs, I actually leave it a little loose so that the wind can blow it around I figure that helps the air circulation, I've never had musty smell and its never left marks on the coach.
The downside is they do tear easily and now after the second season, I've noticed the top of the cover is is chalking and there is white dust ever where.
Will I buy another ADCO? Probably not, but I will always have some type of cover, I get compliments all the time on how new my 2005 looks.

How bad did I mess up my Jeep?

Yesterday I towed my 2006 Jeep Wrangler about 50 miles before I noticed that my transfer case wasn't in Neutral, but in 4WD Hi. Its a manual transmission.
I drove it a bit today and it seems fine, but I can't believe I can make that big a mistake and not pay for it...:S.
Has anyone else had this experience?

Towed jeep just fine, but then battery was dead

Last week i posted about being nervous towing the Jeep 1000 miles to Florida for the first time. But like you all said, piece of cake, didn't even know it was back there.
but when i got here, the Jeep battery was dead. I use a BrakeBuddy so i'm guessing that puts a drain on the power?
How are you all handling that?

First long toad ride

Heading from Phila to Orlando two weeks and can't wait. This is first time we're towing the 2006 jeep wrangler more than 100 miles, and only did that once. Kinda nervous, any last minute tips? Made sure i have the road side assistance up to date and ready, can't think of anything else..:?

Microsoft Streets & Trips with GPS Locator, ?

I'm looking at purchasing the MS software w/ GPS navigation and wanted to ask if anyone has used this software and does it identify low bridges?
I was going to buy the $400 gps for rv'rs, but just couldn't justify the cost, especially after all the bad reviews i read.
This seems like a better option for the spouse since she loves to plan trips ahead of time...

Liquid Rubber

I put a coating of Liquid RV Rubber roof on my 29ft Coachmen this past weekend. I think i looks great, but paranoid i put it on too thin. Had to buy the 5gal pail, knew i would have some left over..I did the measure out of an area for how far a gallon should go....
Has anyone had experience with too thin an application?

tank monitor panel replacement

The little panel that shows the levels for tanks and propane has gone fluky. When i touch the button for any tank (fresh, grey, black or propane) , all the lights flash and then nothing.
How hard is it to replace the panel?

RE: Jumping engine battery from house battery?

you'd have to have some mighty long jumper cables, no? I've got 29' Coachmen Leprachaun as well, can't imagine standard cables going from batteries (under the house door) all the way up front to the cab.
My Coachmen does have the emergency switch too...

RE: good site at pine grove furnace state park, pa.

we've stayed there twice, very nice campground, new facilities, nice level pads. I don't have the map handy so i can't recommend an exact site, but the whole place is nice. They are pet friendly too

RE: Jeep bike rack advise

we have a 2006 Wrangler we flat tow behind Class C, use a Kuat bike in the receiver.
http://www.kuatinnovations.com/index.php?page=sherpa
very easy to load and unload bikes, but it is difficult to get to rear of jeep, the rack bows down, but the tire is still hanging up. looking into a hitch extension.
when we use it just on the MH, no jeep, its the best bike rack i've ever used.
