We are going to one Angels game after the Good Sam Rally in March. We made reservations at Apache Palms Don't know to much about it, but it is close to the ball park and we are only staying one night before heading up to Camp Verde for a couple of days.

On my insurance I have $1000.00 deductible but I pay $38.00 for safetly glass covered at $100.00 deductible. American Modern Insurance.

Quartzsite is to RV's like Sturgis is to motorcycles. We just came back from an extended weekend there. Our third year, we stay in town in the middle of the whole mess.....We love it. We will be going back next year. You can shop until you drop or you can find a corner to sit in and people watch.

I can reccomend just one guy...his name is Bret at South Coast Mobile RV in Orange County, and he can possibly travel out your way. Very honest, he has done supurb work for me (and I'm picky!) as well as others on this forum.
His Dad had a Jayco Dealership in Stanton for many, many years, and Bret got his experience there growing up! He also is certified foe many brands of warranty work, and has very reasonable rate and a great attitude!

Road is a good two lane road, after hanging a right towards Pahrump it has a couple of hills but nothing special. Stay at Terribles RV Resort. Nice place.

For a real argument about this same topic...check out the "In one person's view" over on the Yellowstone.net forum! While some can synpathize about "predator's" outside the park, the VAST majority who come to Yellowstone want to see the wildlife including the reintroduced wolves and certainly the bears(both Black and Brown).
Yellowstone is vast in its appeal from the geysers and thermal features, to the terrain, the wildlife, the vegetation, the entire eco-system. While You may be disappointed in the progress on the infrastructure, I, on the other hand, appauld their calculated improvements. Even the updating being done in Fishing Bridge was a large issue mainly because that CG lays directly on a active and historic migration route for the Grizzly(did you ever wonder why only Hard sided RV's are allowed, I did).
Im sorry that someone's 40-45 foot RV doesnt fit in most of the CG's but I can live with it and forego the so called "much needed" improvements while keeping the natural beauty of the Park..IMHO

Does anyone have current info for Verizon coverage at Q? I know that even in town some had trouble getting decent speeds. More like a bad dialup. Maybe that has changed. What about out in the desert? Thanks

Verizon has good coverage in the Q, but sometimes there are so many people on the tower that it is pretty slow.

We have always stayed at Distant Drums - many times - and highly recommend it if you are looking for a FHU place. We use it for first night out and last night out when we travel thru or as a base for the area for Sedona and all.
Looks like a really nice resort. Might be the place to stop. I wonder how busy they are in March?

I assume you are referring to an extended warranty. We got a refund when we traded and it was applied to the new extended warranty on the new coach.
