RE: Snow load damaged roof?

Sorry about your trailer. I have lived here in Anchorage, west side of town, for 65 years. I always remove the snow in the winter from my trailer as we have frequent melting and freezing periods. This year with 11 feet of snow and the weight of snow per square inch is about 40lbs and when you get ice built up the weight increases. I cleaned my trailer about 3 times-- first time in late December, second time in January after a warm up melting period and the last time was in early February. I also did the same for my flat roof garage. I hope your insurance will help you out. I would hope that the base would help the guys out as many of them were deployed in the service for our country.
