Michelin Tires in San Fernando Valley??

Time for new tires (270 170 R22.5). Current tires are 6 years old. Is there a tire dealer in the SF Valley who is price competetive?
Thanx!!

Catastrophic Atwood Jack Failure

The left rear jack would not retract (2007 Kountry Star) in a park in Montana. Atwood gave me the retraction procedure (via telcon) and suggested that we have an technician trouble-shoot the problem. We drove about 250 miles to an authorized service facility. At at the exact moment when we came to a dead stop in the facilities parking lot, the jack dropped to the ground. Can't imagine what might have happened if this had occured at 60 mph. The tech pulled the jack and estimated the repair (replacement) at about $1500, including shipping from the factory. I called Atwood, they appologized and supplied a new jack for free (I paid the shipping fee).
Our guardian angel was looking over us that day.

Highway 70 in Colorado

We are traveling from Los Angeles to Indiana. On a previous trip we took I-40 thru the west. For the upcommming trip, we are considering
I-15 to Salt Lake City and then east on I-70. Our coach is a 36' pusher (plus toad). My concern involves the mountain grades in Colorado. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I 70 through Colorado

We are planning a trip to the midwest from California. We have a 36' pusher (400 hp) and a toad. Any info on I 70 thru Colorado would be appreciated. Also, particularly beautiful areas en route would be good. Thanx in advance.

RE: Sante Fe to Grand Canyon through Sedona

Sedona is a lovely town/area. Be sure to take a look at Cathedral Rock (state park?). Also, drive up the hill to the local airport for an amazing view of the area.
