RE: 1/2 tons and 5th wheels. Trailer Life magazine article.

I used to pull an 8300# fiver with a 1/2 ton Dodge. We now pull with a Ford F350 SRW. No comparison, can you pull with a 1/2 ton yes you can, but I had supersprings, a hemi, and tow package. It was a terrible ride, and not enjoyable. There is no doubt in my mind just after towing a little over a 100 miles with the F350. Much safer and better ride.

RE: Best name for a dog?

We have Boston Terriers. We like a to name them after things to do with music. For instance our first was named Ozzy. Our current Bostons are named Jack and Diane.

RE: helpher springs

I had Supersprings on my last truck. Loved them did not know they were there when not towing. I would use them again if needed.

RE: RUST ! Which new trucks do you think are best and worst?

Just traded in a 2004 Ram with rust all over it. I have seen a guy in town with a 2006 Ram that is totally rusted out.

RE: Meat Smokers

I have a Great Outdoor Smokey Mountain propane. It is simple to use large enough to fix large meals for several people. Only downfall I see with the Bradley is the cost of the pucks. If you are looking at electrics look at Masterbuilts. The Weber gets very high ratings. Check out Smoking Meat Forums.

RE: Post your tow vehicle pics here

Our new tow 2005 Ford F350 Lariat FX4 6.0 liter PSD. Quite an upgrade from our Ram 1500. Should tow our fiver with ease.

RE: Texas F1 race is dead, New Jersey F1 race is the problem

Until Bernie goes away, successful F1 will never happen in the U.S. Look at Indy he drew the largest crowds in the history of F1, but it does not matter to him. All he cares about is getting his money. I can't believe the F1 owners have not wised up to his greedy ways.

RE: Iowa State Fair--where to stay and what to see

A visit to the Iowa State Fair must include the Butter Cow, World's Largest Boar, a walk-thru the Varied Industries Building, and the food (pork chop on a stick). There are several free stages throughout the fairgrounds. As far as camping the Fairgrounds campground is out, unless you go into the holding area takes several days, and then if you get in it will be without utilities. Jeffcarp made several good suggestions for the area.

I looked into timbrens, and took the advise of my RV Dealer. Went with Supersprings, and I'm very pleased with them.

For years we used Olympic with good results, but decided to try Behr. It peeled before winter hit. I have heard great things about Cabot.
