We will be in Top Sail state park first 2 weeks July. Maybe we can get together then.

Looks like Topsail is all booked up around that time. There's a private campgrond near there I can try but at the very least, we can come meet y'all for dinner one night. It's about 1.5 hrs from us. Can't wait to see ya!

Ok, I have kind of bad news but it's not terrible. We were not able to change our reservations to include the 15 & 16 since they're booked and it's too far for me to commute. But we are planning on being there for the day on Saturday. It's a little over an hour from where I'm staying in Pensacola.
So, can't wait to see everyone...it'll just be for one day.

Thanks Bob for finding a movie that should be entertaining. Mel and Tony you still going to be able to get down on the weekend when the rest of us are in Gulf Shores?
Yep, planning on it. We're booked thru Friday and should be able to stay till Sunday since they keep a few sites for first come, first serve. But Tuesday thru Friday, I have to commute back and forth to Pensacola for work.

Good morning...
For those of you who have been concerned about me not having a sewing area when camping, worry no more.
I have figured away to better lay out the camper living room so that I can have a 72"x30" sewing table and storage drawers for my sewing when we do some long time camping. I'm really excited because I don't lose seating space. Can't wait to pack up and go.
Life is good.....
Good, maybe you can squeeze us in and visit Pensacola this winter!

Ok, so we're still definately going to be there Oct 6-10 but not there Tuesday - Thursday, maybe back Friday the 14th after work. Because I'm getting a job my days of slacking are coming to an end! However, even if we're not able to camp the 14th-16th, we'll be close enough to visit since my new job will be in Pensacola! So Pensacola will be our home base for me & the motorhome and Tony will have to travel by himself, staying in hotels for work. I'm still hoping to win the lottery before my start date because I really don't want to go back to work!

For the first time in 4 or 5 years, we are going to have to miss this great rally. Due to these economic times it is with deep regret that we have to cancel. I've never been one to let financial issues interfere with my fun but there comes a time when it's completely unavoidable.
We already miss you all and now we will miss you more! And remember if you're ever near the gulf coast, let us know and we'd love to get together! Love & miss you all!!!
P.S. we had a great river front site, I emailed Smith's this morning so it should be available if anyone wants it...

Hope Kathy recovers quickly!
I guess it's hospital week for some folks...Tony's Dad had a stroke on Sunday and is at the Cleveland Clinic. At first we were told it was mild but now it appears it was a little more serious than that. He can't use his right arm and has only been able to walk small distances (bed to chair & back). He's only 60 years old! They said he should make a pretty complete recovery and that it just takes time. I was hoping we wouldn't have to deal with this stuff for a few more years!
And I'm getting ready to head to the hospital for another nerve block. So 2 yrs & 3 months after I broke my foot, I'm still dealing with pain and other issues from it. It had gotten a lot better but then the first of April, I re-injured it and it kicked the nerve problem back into high gear :( I'm on Lyrica and 3 others medications trying to knock it out again.
Anyway, I wish everyone a pain-free, healthy day!
