RE: City rules about overnighting...not happy

Walmart, Cracker Barrel, etc. wants you to stop there but some times it is out of their control due to certain city ordinances...a real shame

RE: Onan 5500 - Adding fuel petcock?

...or make sure you add a fuel stabilizer every time you add gas to the tank AND exercise it once per month for a minimum of 1 hour at a minimum 50.00% load

RE: kill-a-watt that sends information?

Worthless unless you are going to watch it on a 24/7 basis...
Money well spent would be towards getting yourself a multi-function surge protector or autoformer...

RE: Do not buy

I asked if the field was dry as I have a two wheel drive truck.
So, I guess to most posting in this thread that this doesn't place any responsibility on the dealer? What was he supposed to do when he got to the field, leave the TT outside? Turn around and take it back? I can just hear everyone now... "You did not perform the task you were hired for...".
The right thing to do would of been to call the dealer and ask what they wanted to do with the trailer since the field was wet...

RE: Do not buy

Whether the dealership lied or not it is very simple for the driver to check when he arrived...he did not check the field when he arrived
This all sounds like an episode on "Shipping Wars"....:B

RE: Do not buy

If you read carefully he said the dealership had already called him a tow truck but HE AGREED TO BE WINCHED OUT OF THE FIELD BY SOMEONE ELSE knowing all along the dealership had already called a tow truck for him...so how in the world would you expect the dealership to pay for your expense?

RE: Deal went south......

Was it ever discussed with this dealer BEFORE YOU AGREED ON A FINAL PURCHASE PRICE that you still owed money on your trade-in????

RE: Is a voltage regulator needed?

Voltage regulators will tell you what the voltage is in your RV but unless you are watching it on a 24/7 basis it does nothing for you...even if you saw the voltage spiking or low there is no way you will be able to unplug your RV fast enough...I personally have better things to do when RVing then watch a voltage regulator
Get yourself a multi-function surge protector (which protects your RV on a 24/7 basis and costs ~ $250 for a 30A and ~ $350 for a 50A) and start enjoying yourself when RVing...others may use "similar' products like an EMS (emergency management system) or an autoforformer

WHEN SOMETHING BECOMES MORE OF A PAIN THAN A PLEASURE THEN IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON...
Only you can make this decision, not us...you know your circumstances the best...whatever you do consider the pros and cons of each...
Whatever you do good luck...
