RE: Yellowstone CG's

We stayed in Bridge Bay with no hookups and we were a total of 47' with truck and trailer. Everything is a little tight in the American national parks but we got in without too many problems.

RE: Is Olympic National Park Worth It?

This is why I post stuff on this website- the information is amazing. Unfortunately, we have a limited amount of time just because that is how it is- got to go back home to pay for this.
This trip is a 20th anniversary gift to my wife and myself. We realize that we probably won't be able to completely experience the west coast the way it is supposed to be due to our time constraints. We love to drive and we are using this trip as a way to get a good "cursory" glimpse of what the Pacific coast has to offer. We have driven the coast from San Fran to San Diego in the past and we wanted to see the rest.
Hopefully in the future we will be able to take a good amount of time and really get to know this route. This will have to do for now.
Thanks everyone again!

Is Olympic National Park Worth It?

We are planning a road trip from Seattle to San Diego (about 8-9 days on the road). With a limited time frame, is Olympic National Park worth visiting? Out main purpose for the trip is to drive the coastal highway all the way- Olympic National Park would be an added bonus but we are concerned it will take up too much time.
What's the verdict?

RE: Seattle to San Diego- Suggestions Please

Normally we would be taking our RV but seeing we live in Ontario and only have about 10-11 days total for this trip we felt the 7 day drive to Seattle might be too much!! I really appreciate the input- this forum has always been a great help with our other trips.

Seattle to San Diego- Suggestions Please

Next spring my wife and I are planning to drive (no RV) along the coast between the above two cities in celebration of our 20th. We know we will be going through the Olympic National Park then down the 101 to Leggett and then we will pick up the #1 in California right down to San Diego. We have driven this stretch from San Fran to San Diego so we have some idea of what we are looking for but what we really want are suggestions of places to visit along the way. Suggestions for nice places to stay would be great too.
We are planning on doing it in 8-9 days if that helps.
Any help would be great!

Seattle to San Diego- Suggestions Please

This is a bit of a big question but I figured this was the place to go. Although we will not be towing our RV my wife and I are planning a driving trip between the above two cities for our 20th next spring. My thinking is that we want to drive the coastal highway the entire way (we have driven it from San Fran to San Diego in the past) but not sure if that is the best.
I guess what I am looking for are suggestions for routes, places we should definitely make sure we see- anything.
We are planning on driving it in 8-9 days.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
