RE: Good Campsites around Nashville and Memphis

If you stay at Graceland its good for Elvis stuff but I would not go out and around that area at night. The area is not like it was when elvis was here. I have heard of bums coming up to campers and begging for money. See what others have to say but I am giving you info from here. You would be better off driving down into mississippi to the casinos and stay at one of their parks and come back up for Graceland.

RE: Good Campsites around Nashville and Memphis

For Nashville I always pick Two Rivers campground, right next door to camping world and the KOA. Just stay on left side of campground there is a bus barn by the back right the folks there are great, between Nashville and Memphis I like Natchez Trace State Park at exit 116 (pin oak grmpground) and I go a lot to Loretta Lynns at exit 143, its about 13 miles off I-40 some spots on top are tight but bottom section is close to pool and stage, just check her web site to make sure what events are going at the time. When you get to Memphis a great place is Tom Sawyers, its right on the Mississippi and sometimes in it. The Agra Center campground is ok just a big field but still close to lots of stuff to do. Let me know if you need more info. Have fun. Kid

RE: Nashville, TN - Two Rivers Camp. v. Seven Points Camp.?

I agree with Two Rivers thats were we stay, Also Country star Mel McDaniel use to keep his bus there and stay there at times when he was not out in Oklahoma. Of course he just recently passed away and he was a good friend of the owners of Two River from what I understand. Seven Points is a great spot if you want a lake and no full hook ups but it is very nice in the summer but if you want close to the action then Two Rivers is it. Kid

RE: Can I Use an Older Dish Antenna?

if its just a one horn dish you wont get all the channels you may have subscribed to. It would be just sat 119 for that but if it has two horns then you get sat 119 and 110 its the 110 sat that has some of the local stuff and some higher up channels but if its a one horn you can still get a lot of the channels. good luck.
