This is ONE of the reasons I ALWAYS open the gray tank first (for about 4 or 5 gallons) and then shut it off and check all my fittings for leaks.... Yes I learned my lesson several years ago.....

If you plan it they will come... We have had alot of Northern Ca Rallies and they were a ton of fun. Just looking for a newbie to plan the next one. You will have alot of help in the planing if you would like it. WHooooo Hoooo
Yep!....... Start small... Call a campground and see if they will give a break with say 10 and then post the dates and campground and see what happens.... Put it a least 3 months out....

Well Cal we are in Ceres. Brianna is living on her own (kinda a sorta.) Shelia and I bought a house, still have the house in Tennessee it is rented out to a great couple who want to buy it one day. We just got back from a 6 week vacation in "Kermit". We went to "The Rally" in Phoenix then went south almost to the Mexican boarder and spent a week going to Kartchner Caverns. Then we headed north to Utah and visited Zion and Bryce National Park. Stopped in Pahrump Nevada and stayed with Bill and Jill. We then ventured to San Diego and then up the coast to Santa Maria where we stayed at the Elks Lodge. Did I mention I joined the "Elks"? We are home now but we take off in June for a FMAC Rally in Coos Bay Oregon and then back down the Northern California Coast.
There ya KK I talked about Rallies so that should make this thread Legal glad Mike is going to retire... See ya in "Q"......

We are off this coming weekend all the way to Felton to camp with a few friends. We might head over there a few days early and enjoy the campground by ourselves. I hope the weather is like it is today, beautiful!
We are going to try and come up there on the 9th or 10th and stay a couple days after..

Chris,
You will get wildly different answers unless you "drill down" on what you are asking about.
Important variables:
1. Gas or diesel
2. Weight of coach and toad
3. Speed driven
BTW, we have averaged 11.3 MPG for the last 130,000 miles-- each gallon recorded, speedometer calibrated. No, it "ain't" all stock and IS driven for economy.
After reading Brett's article in FMCA magazine from a couple months ago on how to use the economy mode. I am getting no lower then 9.3 MPG towing a Chevrolet Colorado 4x4 Crew Cab.
I was VERY diligent about not going over 55.

First, stop calling people. Voice support is difficult ..do things online, like registering. As for operation, do you have an owners manual? Google or YouTube may be helpful.
Yes I have tried to do things on line. But it will not let me delete the first one I bought and returned and I can not find the help I need as far as using the One Touch to find things IN FRONT or ALONG the way. Yes I have the Manual I had to download it..... However there are tricks that are not in the manual. Like when you want to add a One Touch you have to type the word with no spaces. Like if you want to add Cracker Barrel you have to type it Crackerbarrel and then it will add.
You see I am on the road and have limited internet so I can't do alot of searching but my cell I have 1400 minutes... SO I want to call and speak to some one who speaks ENGLISH.. Plus there are other problems only they can fix from their end. Like the registration switching.

Magellan RV9165T-LM Need Help BECAUSE..... Long Story
I can not get support from a TECH REP at Magellan that speaks ENGLISH I can understand.
I bought my Magellan RV9165T-LM at "The Rally" in Phoenix on March 24th at the Camping World Booth. I came back to my Motor Home happy with my new toy....... UNTIL...... I called to register it. My call went to INDIA. I registered and got a ID. number but that is where me understanding her ended. I asked to speak to her supervisor because I was having problems understanding her ENGLISH. She told me that no one there spoke better ENGLISH then her. I hung up Anyhow I proceeded to open the package and the low and behold it was damaged. So I returned it March 25th and received a new one with no questions asked. Now one of my problems trying to find a phone number that I can get help at from some one speaks Understandable ENGLISH.
I am on the road right now and really like the Magellan RV9165T-LM but I am having operating issues.
I figured out how to work the One Touch feature, but how do I make it do a search while on the road. Like for example if I am looking for a Taco Bell how do I have it search ahead and around me. When I do a search now it finds them behind me and with in a 100 mile radius..

From what I am reading, there is still a major problem with the RM 7710 on the screen viewing. What is the latest on the Magellan RV9145LM? I would appreciate comments from anyone using that unit. Thanks! :B
I just bought the unit your talking about 2 weeks ago and am still learning it. So far I like it. But I have one complaint (so far) when I called to get help my call was routed to a India call center and I could not understand her ENGLISH and she would not let me talk to a supervisor. I have a couple small questions I would like answered but if I can not understand the person WHAT DO I DO??????
Did you call their regular sales number or a special tech support number? You might be able to call their regular number and explain to them that you need help and can't understand their indians! Let us know the outcome of this. Thanks!
No I have not I am traveling right now and will be for the next 6 weeks. Right now I have very limited internet. We may be at a place next week that we can take care of it... But from I can figure out the RV9145LM is going to be excellent and it works great in my truck. I was worried it would be to big for the dash but it is not..
