RE: Bristol Race Camping
I was there for the Spring race....been making the trip up from Florida for about 7 years now. Our campground area was less than half full this year....depressing site to see. I think it has less to do with the track changes though and more to do withe general economy. Many of the folks we have gotten to know over the years have just had to lower the number of races they camp at each year....and make a choice in regards to Bristol.
Great place to camp and still an enjoyable race weekend every season at Bristol though!

Drove from Jupiter, FL up to Vero Beach, FL and back after after a visit to the Vero Beach Outlet Mall and then hooked up a new Solar Charger from Battery Tender.....

Change oil in Roadtrek 170, and filled propane in preperation for 12 hour drive to Talladega in a couple of weeks for NASCAR races.....

Setting up at Talladega April 2011 race....full hookup spots at Talladega RV Park next door to track. Only Class B in the campground...the owners of campground required a visual "check" of my Roadtrek to ensure I met their standalone restroom requirements.
