RE: GM Dingy Caution

I am successfully towing a 2010 Chevy Traverse with no issues. Not sure what happened to the Cruz and LaCrosse.
I am also towing the Traverse (2011) without issues. I thought at one time GM had a return policy with in so many days.

RE: Camping World, Avondale, Arizona

That location was a Tex Earnhardt RV dealership that closed. It's now a Camping World dealership, but I don't believe there's a CW accessories store, so call before you go. The Phoenix area CW store is in Mesa.
BTW, Google satellite views are not all taken at the same time, so things can appear and disappear as you zoom.
Good info, there is also a CW Dealer in Mesa at Gilbert and Main Streets.
CW store is at Mesa Dr. and the 60.

RE: Chair lift for back of motorhome

I tow a Chevy Traverse. I had a Pride Backpacker lift installed (3rd seat needs to be removed) and I have a Jazzy 614 that fits very well. No worries about the weather.
Good luck,

RE: Bathtub update

I have a bath and a half. I am also disabled to the point that I can't step up onto the engine cover and down into shower/tub. If you PM me I will send you some pics of how the conversion looks. The shower/tub was lowered to 2 inches off the floor, side of tub was cut so I can step over and in, a seat was put in as I have trouble standing.

RE: Do I really need a 4WD or AWD vehicle?

Chevy Traverse and Equinox 2WD can be towed. They are easy to setup.

RE: Residential Fridge - finished. Here is one photo

Looks great Bill, what size of inverter do you have or did you put in a dedicated one for the fridge?

RE: Convection/microwave or Reg. oven?

We were a bit uneasy about not having an oven as we'd never seen a convection microwave before. However, after getting used to it they are really nice. So far everything we've tried has come out just dandy.
X2 - Wife rally likes it and we have more storage.

RE: Do Prefer E-Books or Printed Books?

My wife loves her Kindle and a good friends who full times just got a Kindle to free up some space, I also think my wife had something to do with, she says she loves her Kindle also. Great product for RVing.

RE: scooter carrier

No I didn't want them buy a tire, I expected better help/support on providing information on who would come to me, as I was in an RV park setup and didn't want to unhook. The guy I was talking to was not in the U.S., had a lot trouble understanding him and I think he had more trouble understanding what I needed.

RE: scooter carrier

We don't carry a spare and I had an issue with a tire having a hunk of rubber missing on the side, tire still had air, I didn't think it was safe to drive. Contacted our road side service, said they would come and air the tire or tow the MH since I did not have a spare. First issue I have had in quite a few years. Soooo IMHO a spare is not worth the space I would loose carrying it. I had a tire service come to me and replace the tire, road side service would only pay for the service call.

RE: Painting a RV ?

I would recommend you contact AZ Truck and Coach, located on Ray Rd, between AZ Ave and McQueen Rd in Chandler. My coach is there now, he is remodeling my master bath for easier access because I am some what disabled.

I am partial to the Dip, because of the chassis, 8 air bags verses 4.
Good luck with your choice

RE: Diesel Pushers Looking For Info

we have a rear bath and that area does heat up but we run the rear ac if it gets too hot. i have had my wife, my daugter, my son, my daughter in law and a friend of the family at different times(and different trips) all sleep in the back with no complaints of noise. i guess if they complained i would suggest they try the couch or sit up front and enjoy the view.
Second that, that's what I have told them.
