RE: Ford E450 spring clamps on hoses

Shop did the same to my MH. Necessary? or a way to increase service bill? It really was a very small part of the bill though. Had recap thrown into front of MH and cracked radiator.

RE: Hoover Dam Rafting

Check out Pink Jeep Tours from Vegas. My wife and I took a "float" trip with them and then had a tour of the Hoover Dam. River trip was short but the day overall was fun and informative. Have Fun!

RE: Leveling jacks on class C

Sorry, but nothing but trouble with my HWH levelers! I am a stickler with maintenance so that is not the issue. HWH is not always easy to get help from - unlike Fantastic. Numerous parts have been repaired, tested, and replaced but I still have issues with two of the jacks. I have given up and use other means to level the MH.

RE: Coachouse Platinum XLTD

Welcome JIm to the Coach House family! We have experienced the need for some minor repairs but that is to be expected. We have also tiled the interior and stairwell and are very pleased with the outcome. On several occasions we have been followed into a campground by folks wanting to get a tour of the CH. One time a police officer followed us and wanted a tour. People have honked at a light to get our attention and ask questions. Feel free to send a private message if I can be of assistance!

RE: The Great Outdoors RV Resort Titusville

My brother lived there for 3 years and I visited him often. He and his wife really enjoyed living there and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting. Yes we did see gators but in Florida you must assume that there is a gator in any body of water - you're not in New York City. Nice golf course with clubhouse/casual dining restaurant. Pool also.

RE: Maiden voyage of the "SS Brewster" complete...picture link

Nice Blog and many years of happy camping! Our children are in their 20's and 30's and still talk about our camping experiences. All are campers now and married men who also enjoy the out of doors.

RE: Rv Insurance - Suggestions Please

GMAC has been my choice for the past 9 years. Geico and Progressive gave me quotes that were lower but I never could get a 100% apples-to-apples quote from them.

RE: Bar harbor RV resort in Abingdon MD ???

Have been 4 times over the past 2 years. Waterfront sites are the best but you are never far from the water - there is also a walkway along waterfront. This is a basic CG - grounds are nothing special - decent pool. Enjoy

RE: Where not to stay in N J

Not to be a smart a**, but it sounds like a hotel room might be where you need to be spending your vacations. Spraying? Really? So you can stay inside to get away from the spray? Sand in NJ? Unheard of since it's an east coast state near the beach and pinelands. And darkness at night? WOW!

RE: Blown Porch light

Had the same problem - replaced the porch light - 5 minute job and no more blown bulbs. I have no ideas why they were burning out so fast.

RE: Keystone says to pour antifreeze in fresh water tank...

I have been putting the antifreeze in the fresh water tank for years - no issues. The fresh water tank needs to be properly rinsed and sanitized after winterizing, of course

RE: Heated Black and Gray Tanks

JJ, mine came loose and I used a silicone adhesive/sealant 3 years ago and they have been fine since. I did not clean the surface of the tank first - just applied the silcone product to the loose areas and kept pressure on for about 10 minutes. The job took about 15 minutes and $5.
