RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

Dinghy towing:
what do you use for supplemental braking on your dinghy vehicle?
I use the Unified Tow Brake from US Gear. http://www.usgear.cc/unified_tow_brake.htm

RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

I purchased these lights because finding replacement lenses for my stock lights were impossible, even from Fleetwood.
I just purchased 3 of the OEM porch lights for my 2004 PA from Walt's RV Surplus. $10/each, plus shipping. Call Walt's at (909) 421-1107. Their web site is http://waltsrvsurplus.com/

Subject: replacement Propane Detector
I get false alarms from my propane detector. If vacuuming it doesn't stop them I guess replacement will be necessary. CCI Controls is apparently out of business. If you have replaced your detector, what did you replace it with and where did you purchase it?

RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

One of the areas that Fleetwood/Pace seriously fell down on.
Jim
Lobstah,
It's not just Fleetwood and Pace Arrow. At the recent FMCA rally in Indio I attended a seminar about the issue of fogged windows. Many of those attending owned high-end diesel rigs from highly respected manufacturers. The take-away lesson for me was that dual pane windows are not a good choice for use on a motorhome—too much flexing that will cause the seals to fail prematurely.

RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

We have a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B Chevy and it does not appear to have a spare tire (just purchased the rig last June). We have AAA, Good Sams and Coachnet roadside service, (I know, overkill, but had an incident a couple of years ago where AAA did not respond to change a tire on our other rig and Good Sam came to our rescue). If we had a flat, would our road side service be able to provide us with a tire? Where do others with our same rig store their spare? I know this seems like a stupid question, but my husband and I are technical tards.
I've been lucky enough to avoid the need to verify this, but I've asked my road service provider and have been assured that whoever they dispatch would be able to provide a tire (at my expense, of course).
