RE: Flat tire

We've got a Discovery. No spare included with the RV but Fleetwood did provide a space for one in a compartment. I picked up a used tire (no rim) and forgot about it until the last trip. We blew an inside dual just outside of Bakersfield CA. Made a call to Good Sam and gave them our coordinates. They advised me that they would send a truck out but they would only install a mounted spare. I would be charged for the re&re on the tire. They sent a service truck out and changed it on the side of the road with no problem. My part of the bill was $45. Their portion was likely in the 200-300 range. I thought that was reasonable and I was quite pleased with GoodSam and the tire service. GoodSam even made a follow up call to ensure the work went ok and we were back on the road.
