RE: what is your break controller set for

I have the Ford integrated brake controller and just leave it set at 9 and forget it.

RE: 2005 Chevy 2500HD 8.1 Litre

I had that exact truck, 2005 Silverado 2500 HD with 8.1 and 4:10 gears. That was a fantastic truck. Towed an 25 ft 5er with no effort. Gas use was what you would expect but liveable as I used it for a daily driver as well. Would highly recommend it as a TV.

RE: Carefree RV resorts don't play by their own rules

Wow! Dunedin RV resort is really a nice well kept and well managed place with friendly people. They have been doing the breakfast thing for years. If that is your only complaint with an RV park you are doing ok.

RE: Best WiFi booster

I have a Rokland N3 for the reason that RV parks have lousy wifi and since getting it have always 100% signal strength. Highly recommend it for $49.

RE: Is HD TV That Important

I no longer have HD eyes so SD is fine.

We have had 3 trailers now over the past 7 years all with slide outs and not problems. Would never be without them.

Why not book online. So much easier and with a picture of the site.

RE: Red Coconut Fort Meyers Beach

Red Coconut is tight but everyone fits. It is an amazingly friendly place where we have met 'friends for life'. Lots to do in the area and weather has been 78-79 degrees everyday. Do not worry. They will fit in a 40 ft DP if needed.

RE: Adults only

I know friends from Quebec who need to put the antenna down so they won't try to watch the hockey game at the same time. It can be done though.

RE: RV Protocol - Unwritten Rules of Conduct

If we have any visitors they are more than welcome to use our facilities. That rule sounds like it was made up by them for them.

RE: KID CONFLICT

We always let the older ones bring a friend and if they drifted off by themselves that was ok. That is what teenagers do.

RE: Suspect My On Order Fiver Used as Show Model

The dealer should have the serial number for yours on the build sheet. We had our serial number about 2 weeks after we ordered.

RE: Removed batwing, added Jack Antenna

We also have one and it works amazingly well. It does not have a 'park' position you just leave it where it is last pointed. It does not fold down at all and is not higher than the air conditioning unit on the roof. Just totally forget that it is there.

RE: Best Cell phone for CND Snowbird?

We use a Tracfone when in Florida. It is pay as you go. Phones are cheap and they provide a toll free number to Canada.

Since the TT is in your driveway it might just be easier to bring the batteries into the house.

RE: Can I whine?

You can always make a reservation to ensure that you have one and then cancel it. Yes you might need to pay a cancellation fee so you have to trade that off against your disappointment right now and to keep hubby happy.

RE: South Florida Camping Resort Suggestions for next Christmas

We love the Red Coconut RV resort in Fort Myers Beach. Ya it is a bit tight but what a great location, friendly people and a great happening place. We have made many life long friends at the Red Coconut. Lots to do for all ages in the FMB area.

RE: Heat pump, yea or nay

Would never be without a Heat Pump. Works fantastically well and as others have said automatically switches over to furnace. Some have said it is noisy but we have not found that at all with ducted HVAC. It is an excellent option for us anyway.
