RE: Branson Mo.

It doesn't look like there's any Interstates close to Branson and I'm not familiar with the US highways in the area, but I'd check to see if Branson has been rebuilt since the Tornado that heavily damaged the theatre strip the end of February. Maybe call some of the CGs in the area for an update.
Branson is fine. Only one campground was damaged during the tornado that I know of. Most of the places hit are back up and running. I live 30 miles from there and was down there last week, my mother-in-law lives there. Some places still have boards over windows but the majority are up and running.

RE: ~Post your campsite photos here~

Here is our site from this weekend at Table Rock State Park near Branson Missouri. Nice site that is concrete and fairly level, has fire pit, lantern hook, and a picnic table. It also has full hookups including 50 amp, water, sewer. Facilities at the park include showers, playground and a marina that gives a discount on boat rentals for staying in the park. It is only about 20 minutes (or less) to the heart of Branson.

RE: what is the best CG in Pigeon Forge with FH?

We stayed at Pine Mountain last summer and enjoyed the stay. The facilities were nice and clean. The only complaint we had was with the Wi-fi. The service was very spotty. They have an outdoor swimming pool on site but there is a hotel across the street where paid campers have access to the indoor pool as well.

RE: Friends wanna go along....

When my sister and her husband want to go somewhere with us, we look for campgrounds that have cabins to rent. This summer we are going to meet in Colorado and they are renting a condo within walking distance of the RV resort we are staying in.

RE: Williwaw Campground AK

Williwaw campground was one of our favorite campgrounds in Alaska when we lived there. It is beautiful. We never had any problems with vandals or crime of any kind. Just take the same precautions you would take anywhere to keep things from easily "walking off".

RE: Branson Mo

We live 30 miles from Branson. While there are still a few businesses that were heavily damaged, the majority of businesses are open. http://www.bransontourismcenter.com/info/2012/03/13/tornado-shouldnt-interrupt-branson-spring-break-or-vacation-plans/ Here is a website answering the question about coming to Branson.

RE: TH Rear Ramp Patio

We have the patio railing system with our Voltage. We close ours up when not at the trailer or at night. It takes maybe 5 minutes to set up and take down. We do not have the room system.

RE: ~Post your campsite photos here~

Here is our site at Basswood RV Resort. Very nice and in the country yet only about 20 miles North of Kansas City. This has everything one could want in a campground. There are multiple ponds to fish at that you don't need a license for. A large pool, large kid play area, horse shoes, shuffleboard, and a few forest trails. Sites are for all sizes, from back ins to large pull throughs like ours. They also have several cabins if you didn't want to take your rv. The baths are spotless and individual rooms. Also, there are lots of picnic areas near the ponds that are very nice. The hosts are very nice and will lead you to your site. They also have pizza onsite that they will deliver to your site. Excellent service.

RE: Why do dogs bury bones??

Our dog has a rawhide bone that she will bury in a bed or on the couch or in a closet. Every once in a while, she will go get it and move it to a new location. She has had it about a year now and will not chew it, but moves it around the house.

RE: Anybody have Marcus Lemonis' e-mail address?

We have had good luck with the CW in Strafford, Missouri. We bought a new toy hauler in December and as it was dealer stock, it had a few things that needed to be fixed. The service department has worked with us to get things fixed and worked around camping trips that we had planned. When we took delivery, there were several things that were missed during the service dept. PDI and as we were hooking up, we found out that one of the landing gear assemblies were slightly bent and they did a temporary repair on it (it has now been fully replaced), our salesmen gave us a $100 gift card for the inconvience of the all the items missed during the PDI. Everything has been fixed to our satisfaction now and appreciate how the store worked with us.

RE: ~Post your campsite photos here~

Here are a few pics from our trip to Spider Creek Resort, about 9 miles west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas on the White River. This is the only RV pad they have (the rest are cabins). Very nice views and a good site with table, BBQ grill, fireplace, and your own private bath house.

RE: Boy Scout Campout...WOW!!!

Thank you for posting this story. So many teen-agers get a bad rap now days and as a high school teacher, I must say that the "bad" kids are not representative of the majority of teens. Most of our kids are doing well and will make great leaders of tomorrow.

Colorado Springs to Breckenridge Colorado

We are taking a trip this summer starting at Colorado Springs then to Breckenridge. I am wanting to know if taking Highways 24 and 9 out of Colorado Springs would be a good option (not too narrow or curvy). We will be pulling our 38' toy hauler.

JC, Really nice site! Are all the other sites as nice as this one?
Thanks!
Most sites are similar in size, but just wouldn't have the outside furniture. It is a very nice campground with lots to do.
