	RE: Rainbow Basin area near Barstow - info needed We were there a few months ago and stayed at Owl Canyon Campground (nice with great hikes). I have a lance 815 hard side. I talked to the camp host about it and he said the problem was the camber on some of the turns would pitch into the canyon walls. I took his word for it and didn't try it. 	RE: chevy gasser 6.0.... We get a steady average 13.6 MPG coast-to-coast; I can spin the rear wheels with loaded camper on board. But this is the power headroom we designed for. With camper off, loading for gardening duties, driving in rural Quebec, we get a steady 15-MPG. How do you do that? I have basically the same truck--07 2500HD, ext cab, 6.0, 4 speed, 4X4 and have never gotten better that 11 mpg, with or without TC, and never tow. John	J&S~B	06/12/11 08:53am	Truck Campers
