RE: Toilet burping

Dave, our toilet was doing the exact same thing on our last trip and it ended up bein a partial clog at the drain pipe from the toilet into the tank. Ours would burp a big bubble as you flushed it. I ran a plumbers snake down it from the toilet and it finally opened it up and no more burp. I then flushed the tank a few times. Hope this helps.

RE: Redwood fiver

The Blackwood is just a less fancy version of the Redwood. It will still be a well built unit like the Redwood but will not be a true 4 seasons unit. It is on a 10" frame compared to the Redwood 12". I was told the production will be about 10 to 14 a day on the Blackwood and about 4 a day on the Redwood. The Blackwood should come in about $8k to $10k less than a Redwood depending on how it is optioned.

RE: New Tires for the New 5th Wheel

Sandpiper, I think you will be very happy with your new BFG Commercial LT tires. We had them installed on our trailer after the Mission ST China bombs that came on our trailer did not even make 5k miles before two started coming apart. I could not find a good ST tire that was not made in China or some other country and decided to go with the BFG for our safety. Ours are a little over two years old and still look like new. We are working on a deal now for a new trailer that comes with Goodyear Marathons made in China and if the deal goes through my first trip will be to Discount Tire for a new set of BFG Commercials. I will then try to get what I can for the Marathons to help cover some of the cost.

RE: Hitch Cover

I got mine at Etrailer online. I have had it about 5 years now and it still looks good.

Mike, Larry is not a moderator on the CR forum. I know the moderator and will send him and email asking him to look into the forum approvals.

Since Thor bought Crossroads and infused their huge buying power and financial help to the table, Crossroads is now doing extemely well and Thor saved a RV Builder who does a nice job of building quality RV's. The Cruiser you are looking at was built at the darkest time in Crossroads history, but if it's still up and running after 7 years, it must have been built pretty well! Check out the usual roof, floor and walls for water damage, and the appliances too. If it looks good, go fer it! I'd love to know who gave you this story - CrossRoads was previously owned by a man that had zero operating debt. CrossRoads was purchased by Thor when it was in a growth mode that showed advances of market share YOY at 30%+. The previous owner created Dutch Housing amongst other successful businesses and currently has another successful trailer manufacturing operation. econometrics, I don't know where he gets a lot of this stuff......

RE: CrossRoads Cruiser Versus Primetime Crusader???

W/D prep is now available on the Cruiser line. PT Crusader does not have a dual pane window option that I can see and the Cruiser does.

RE: Redwood and Falcon

Luke, I have been on here many years and you are absolutely correct and I apologize to the members of the forum. I know better than to stoop to his level and will not be responding to anymore of his post. It is just not worth it.

Speaking of what do you have, what brand RV do you own Connex?

RE: Redwood Fifth Wheels

Since they've been in business and building Redwood RV's since July 10th 2010...where do you think they were being made? The Crossroads factory. I never said anything about them not being a division of Crossroads I said they are NOT built by Crossroads at the Crossroads plant. They are built at a completely different plant that only builds Redwood. Crossroads only handles the warranty issues as far as I know. I never bashed you one time just ask that you get your facts straight. I am sure your huge number of post is impressive to some and you can have all the conflicting opinions you want just don't post mis-information about companies you know nothing about.

RE: Redwood Fifth Wheels

It's aparently built by Crossroads RV...also a division of Thor No they are not built by Crossroads or Dutchman like you stated in the last post about Redwood. But Thor already builds some quality CrossRoads 5ers No Crossroads builds Crossroads trailers not Thor their parent company.

RE: Elkridge vs. Komfort Upgrading to a 5th Wheel

Dutchmen is also building Thors new "top of the line" brand Redwood 5ers on the same assembly line by the way! Do you have a link to verify this information?

RE: Full body paint

The Cruiser Sahara will not be full body paint, it will be full color gel coat. Big difference in cost.

RE: Pullrite vs Sidewinder on a Crossroads Cruiser

Like what? I hookup to the Sidewinder and go just like I did with our old units with a regular pinbox. Nothing going on any different for me.
