RE: Do any car-rent companies permit TT towing w/ rented truck?

Have you tried a place like Hertz Equipment Rental? They have trucks in the 250/2500 flavor. I am not familiar with their rules on towing.

RE: Camping at Martinsville NASCAR

Generally, there are plenty of spots. Later arrivals may end up in spots that are not very level. There are many places to camp other than Speedway Property - Lots of houses and business near the track looking to make a buck. If you arrive after noon on Sat, check to see if the West Window Co still lets people camp for free. Martinsville Recon

RE: Fifth-Wheel and Truck Transport Companies

Call your insurance company and make sure you have insurance on them. Then fly to N.C. and drive them home without plates.... You get stopped tell them you just bought them.... That is what I would do. Enjoy your Challenger.

RE: Camping World water transport bladders

Where are you finding these at CW? I have called their stores, looked in their master catalog, and used the search engine on their site to no avail! I finally made one with a patched inflatable Coleman mattress. Works OK, but would like a dedicated water bladder with the proper hardware. Thanks in advance for your reply. A model number would be great! --> Catalog Item # 1605 <--

RE: Camping World water transport bladders

I have only used mine in the CG. Probably just CYA. I don't believe they are that delicate. I believe the issue may be securing it to the vehicle in case of a sudden stop.

Charleston WV to Indianapolis, IN via US 35

Need a little help please. Driving from Raleigh to Chicago without the RV:(. For the stretch between Charleston WV and Indianapolis, mapping sites recommend US 35 to Dayton. Are there any issues with this route?

RE: 3 questions about myrtle beach (ocean lakes)

Hmmmmmmm... maybe I am the the odd ball here ???? I like 95 into Lumberton... 74 East to 401 to 701 to 9 to 22 to 31 south... From 95 to North Myrtle Beach it is 75 miles and 1-1/2 HRS.... Yes OL is farther south , but 31 is a real nice highway .. Either way you are set !! Enjoy and Happy Camping... Joe Nope. We also use this route.

RE: Honda EU3000I Generator

It will run either my 13.5K of 15K with power to spare, but I have never tried it at high elevation. To start the 15K A/C, I have to have Eco Mode Off.

RE: air conditioner w/eu3000 is generator

We have the EU3000 and a 15K A/C Try: Eco Mode Off Battery Fully Charged Fridge and Water heater on Gas Fan to "On" not Auto - Low Setting after about a minute, switch to Cool. After a short pause, the compressor should come on. Wait a bit and switch the fan to high. Once the compressor starts, I can switch the gen to Eco mode and it will settle down a bit.
