Class C with rear storage

I am looking for a Class C with an outside storage compartment in the back. I've seen a couple in the past but can not locate them no matter how I search. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: 167 bodies found in Mexico

A few years ago there was some one who regularly searched the internet and news papers to find negative information about Mexico to post on this site. Are we getting there again? Any one who wants the negative information can search for it own their own. This site should for RVing in Mexico and I hope it would be positive.

Confront a robber and become part of the problem or back out and let them take what they want especially if they have a gun and you don't.

RE: RV Depreciation

Talk about spreading depretion out: For those who have not followed Tioga and George, he has spent about 3,240 nights in his RV.
We have, along with many, many others, vicariously followed Tioga and George from his first post where he said George met Tioga in Manteca, California 'bout the end of February, 2003. It was love at first sight. The very day that George drove Tioga home to Concord, George became a Vagabond. George never spent one day in his apartment again. Tioga was home and for Tioga & George, the adventure began. He said we knew that we had to be "free-as-birds."

RV Depreciation

Have any of you calculated the money lost when you sold or traded units. In my experence, fuel prices were not where the money was. Our first RV was a 1978 Winnebago Brave which we bought new. Since then we have had four other units all of which we lost money on when we sold. I only remember the amount lost of the last unit which was $18,000. I would love to have a new DP if we could afford one. If we could buy a new DP, we would have to finance it, that added to the cost of the unit which would be alot of money we would lose in four, five or ten years down the road. So right now we are wana be RVers.

28ft Allegro Breeze

I just came across information about the 28ft Allegro Breeze DP. I was at the Hershy RV show and didn't see it there. Has any one seen this modle? It has a NAVISTAR MAXXFORCE® 7 V8 ENGINE. Is this the same engine in the Ford Power Stroke PUs?

RE: Ford 5.4 Class C

The Four Winds 23P rentals have from 75k to 120k. But as Pap posted, they are stripped. I have looked at the E350 and F350 Class C rentals and don't like the dog house in the E350 cab.

Ford 5.4 Class C

I want to buy a Class C on a Ford F350 PU with a 5.4 V8 engine. The only ones I find are the high miles x rental units. Are there any other new or use Class C on a PU F350 with the 5.4 engine?

03 Damon Ultrasport $49,500

I was at a dealer's auction today. A 2003 Damon Ultrasport with 24,205 miles sold for $49,500. It was in pristine condition. It looked as though it had never been lived in although the storage compartments showed some use. I thought it may have been used as a demo. I'm looking for a smaller unit but was this one nice and for that price. I was with a dealer how would have wanted only about $1,000 for his profit. I was talking with another man who asked what I thought the unit would sell for. I said oh about $90,000. I forgot it was going to sell for the wholesale price.

RE: Inflatable Boat - Too Cool

We have a Sea Eagle 124 with the detchable wheels which makes it easy to get in to the water. We set it up at home and haul it on the back of our Renger PU which we tow behind our RV. It is my understanding that it does not have to be registered if the motor is not more than three HP.

RE: Need advice

Thanks tatest - You are right. Southwind is Fleetwood. I made a mistake. It should have been Fourwinds. I have had Ford vans and a Class C on a Ford van chassies. We rented a 23p and liked it because of the extra room in the cab and the engine is so much easier to get to. The CruiseAmerica 23p all seem to have over 100k miles. I'll keep looking. Thanks.

RE: Need advice

The Tigar motor home is nice but out of my price range. I see that a walk though could be made for the 23p if I could find one that had low milage. Thanks for the info.
