We had a plumbing inspection the other (comes with our AC contract) the guy actually told me they are making things nowadays to only last 5 to 6 years, so the manufacture can sell more, no more standing on one's name. They said they had sent me notice but only knew about it after letter and collection proceedings. Was not a happy camper. Real big rip off. But what a way to get revenue. RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} Richard, so happy to hear you are feeling better. Got Missy to her vet this morning and he also confirmed it is arthritis. Told him about Joint Strong and he said he wasn't a fan, because the industry does not have any regulations or guidelines that they don't always use quality meds. He recommended Dasuquin. I checked it out and might be worth a try. Got very good reviews. Sounds like it might take the place of young at heart too. Anyway not sure I would do this but he takes 2 tabs a day for his knees. Has for the last 5 years and he feels it has helped him keep surgery at bay. Who knows. He did put her back Rimadyl, said she needed to be on it for 2 weeks to see a difference. Get Missy back to her regular Vet and hopefully he can get her out of pain since the Rimadyl upset her too much and didn't seem to help the pain or the limping.
