RE: City water seeping into on board tank.

Both are good ideas. Thanks.
The pump is still under warranty so there is no out of pocket cost. In either case above I will still have to access the pump and outlet line from the same small crawlway. That is what I was hoping to avoid. On the other hand, if the problem were not the pump, then I might very well have a more complex issue to deal with. (Be careful of what ya wish for....I guess)
"Thanks" again for the input.

RE: City water seeping into on board tank.

The fresh water fill line is separate from the city supply line. I have a new pump enroute as I suspect you are right about it leaking back into the on-board tank. But since access to the pump for removal and replacement can only be accomplished by crawling through a narrow passageway under the bed from one side of the trailer to the other, I wanted to be sure there were not other possibilities before going through the contortions necessary to actually pull and replace the old pump.

City water seeping into on board tank.

Hooked up to city water in RV Park. In line pressure regulator used. After a day or so water was dripping out of on-board fresh water fill vent. Water from city supply is somehow finding
its way into the on-board tank to the point of overflow out the vent.
Any thoughts as to why?
(Water pump is Shurflo 4008 RV By-Pass pump.)
Thanks
