RE: TPMS question

I just installed a TST system with the internal sensors. TST recommends that you set the high limits 20 psi over your tire pressure and the low limits 10 psi under the set limits. Leave the temp at the factory default 157*. Poppy

RE: TPMS System Internal sensor or flow thru?

I just installed the internal sensors from TST 507 on my Fleetwood Providence. Used the 3" sensors on the steer front tires and the inside dually tires. I used the 1" sensors on the outside duals. I have Alcola Aluminum wheels (4) with steel wheels (2) on the inner duals. I also have 4 screw on sensors that are transfered from vehicle (Buick Enclave) to vehicle (golf cart dolly with Honda CRV. Takes a couple of minutes to remove and install. Everything works great and there are major improvements since the first problematic unit I bought several years ago. Customer service was great in deciding on the unit and the sensors

RE: Check Tire Pressure Before Every Trip

For you guys with the TPMS. How many times have you actually had a tire go down that the TPMS detected, that you would not have, by checking pressure on a regular basis ? I have on three different occasions :h Poppy

EDUCATE ME Just what is an outside shower? Are we talking about the sink sprayer in the water compartment? My shower is inside surrounded by glass walls. Am I missing something? Poppy

RE: Clams on the Grill

Living on Long Island, clams are 2nd nature... Step in the water, dig up two clams, slam them together to crack the shell and slurp away... We live on the coast of NC. You forgot one important ingredient ??? COLD BEER

RE: How much do you pay for Kuerig Kcups?

Shop around! I find specials at Target, Bed bath, Belks ETC.. 18 count $7.99. I usually drink two cups each morning, for the second cup I lift the handle about 1/8" (NO MORE) and this resets the coffee machine. Can't really tell much difference between the first and second cup. Now the cost is cut in half.

RE: Installing HD TV (Direct TV) HELP !!!!

What about the Blue Ray player? Is it only going to the front TV? With the BOMB (box of many buttons) you could send a signal to the rear, outside Tv or front tv.

Best Buy sales gimick...... or not?

I was told that after so many hours on the new Tv's that you need to have them calibrated. When I was in Best Buy, I asked about this service and it was in the $200 price range. The supposedly hook up some type of computer to the TV and adjust the color ratio and the clarity. Is this just a sales trick or does it actually improve the picture? Horace

Summer vacation, but where?

We have always been a family affair. Now we have a three year old GD, + her mom and dad and want to camp as a group this summer. But Where? Before you answer, I live on the coast of NC. You can only go in three directions. Two years ago we went NW to the mountains of Va, state park, and then dropped down into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tn. (10 days) Last year it was Stone Mountain, Ga and Atlanta for 8 days. Zoo and aquarium. We often travel to Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Outer Banks, and Savannah but this is only a four day long weekend. Any recommendations on places you have been? Keep in mind that we are traveling with a 3 1/2 year old, so 8 to 10 hours travel time is out of the question. Disney World and Washington DC we don't think would be fun, until she is 6 or 7. We are looking forward to your secret spots. and thanks:D

RE: Setting up DirecTV

Horace, If one of your TVs has an "out" coax terminal, you can feed the sat, and/or DVD to the button box, and then to the rest of the MH. Let me see if I understand: Blue ray player HDMI to front TV If front Tv has an "out" coaxial RG6 then feed to the Box and then to the other tv's? Thanks, I'll check.

RE: Setting up DirecTV

Ok, I looked in my book "SAT TV AND ELECTRONICS FOR DUMMIES" and can't find the answer. I have an older coach with coaxial cable run to the three tv's from the BOX OF MANY BUTTONS. This is fed from the Jack antenna and the cable outlet. The Sat is not used but it also goes to the button box. The Tv's have been replaced with the newer flat screen, Visio and Samsung. I wanted to update the old DvD to a Blue Ray, but they only use HDMI not coaxial. I know that I can run an HDMI to the front Tv and it will work, but what do I do about the others?

RE: Webber 200 gas grill

I sent Weber a request for a solution to my low heating problem. Here is their answer, but I'm not sure I understand what the difference will be between a 20# tank and my 37gal tank on the MH.Gas company says it has the 11# (I believe that was the number) neded for correct pressure. Dear Mr. Sikes, Thank you for contacting Weber. Your Q 200 is not manufactured to be used with an RV propane system and this is the reason it is not working properly. The correct propane usage is with a small disposable tank, or a 20 lb tank with adapter hose. Anything other than these 2 will cause problems with the gas flow. You should be cleaning your burner tube once a year, following the annual maintenance instructions in the back of the manual. Once again, the problem is probably that you have the grill hook-up to an improper gas source. If you have additional questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us. If replying via email, please leave this message intact as it will help us to respond faster. Our customer service hot line is open 7 days a week 7:00 am -11:00 pm CST. Sincerely, Judy Weber/Ducane Customer Service Representative

RE: Webber 200 gas grill

Weber regulator has been removed and it is direct to the RV propane tank system. Everything in the MH works fine. Wonder where I can get a new burner tube? Mine may be grease filled since it won't get hot enough to burn it off.

Webber 200 gas grill

My gas grill won't get very hot. It takes about 20 minutes for it to get to 400* and won't get any hotter. I have it hooked up to the propane outlet supplied to the outdoor kitchen. It is at the recommended pressure, checked by propane company. Could the burner become clogged? I don't remember it being this way the first year. Removed the burner and washed it with a grill cleaner solution. Not much improvement. I don't have a hot large blue flame, but a very low blue flame. Have to look closely to see it. While a part, I saw the gas orifice and was wondering if I should drill this a little larger? Would more propane do better? Any suggestions?
