We just left Indian Cove Resort in Virginia Beach and they rent these on the board walk at the beach. They are really neat and popular there.

RE: WHICH TENT TO BUY WITH SO MANY CHOICES OUT THERE?
We tent camped many years when my 2 sons were home. Remember to take some type of rug to place at the entrance to wipe feet cause a lot of dirt gets on the floor. A small broom and if you have electric, we always carried a small fan to cool the tent.

Don't forget smores stuff (marshmellows, graham crackers and hershey bars). I personally like the fudge striped cookies with a roasted marshmellow in between 2 cookies. Also, twinkies roasted over the fire are delicious. Stick twinkie with roasting fork in long ways so it won't fall off fork. Roast and when done drizzle with chocolate syrup.

RE: Need a winning smoked BBQ rib recipe...FAST!
SAUCE for RIBS:
1 cup brewed coffee
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a
boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until
thickened, stirring occasionally. Brush over cooked RIBS. Yield:
8 servings (1-1/2 cups barbecue sauce).

Thanks for the replies. My husband unplugged everything and rebooted. Working fine now. I think we had some sort of surge at the campground. My laptop is not up to par either.

Vizio Smart TV
We have a vizio smart tv. Every time we turn it on it will play about one minute and then go off. You cannot change the channel or adjust the volume. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Try Awesome from the dollar store. Works really well on black streaks. Might want to dilute it with water and not use full strength. Good stuff and only a dollar.

We were there this past week end. Many nice improvements have been made. New bath house remodels. There is a new putt putt and nice playground, basketball,horseshoes,etc. We camp in the meadow which was absolutely beautiful only it has water and electric,no sewer. Nice bath house right in front of sites. We were on site 112. Met the new owner and he was so nice. All the office help was friendly. One of our favorite cg and we will be back soon. If you like seafood, try American Roadhouse in Asheboro. It is so good my husband and I drive down there just to eat. Be prepared for a lot of food. Have a great time. Wish we were going back now!!!!

We have a Flagstaff by Forest River. For $500.00 we ordered Atrium windows which go from ceiling to floor. I love them. They are also available on the
Rockwood. We have had so many compliments on our TT.

Been there. It is a nice cg. To me Site 15 was really nice. We had 5 campers in that section. The fishing is great. One of our friends caught 2 of the biggest crappies I ever saw. They put his pic in the store. His name is Mike Perry. We will definitely be back. Have a great time.

Bake Potato wrapped in foil. Place on bottom of crock pot. Season chicken leg and thigh pieces that are hooked together and lay on top of wrapped potatoes. Do Not Add Any Liquid!!! Cook about 6 hours on high. Potatoes taste like restaurant style and chicken taste like rotisserie. Delicious. I use BBQ rub on my chicken. So easy for camping.

Mike: In Lenor, right outside of Boone, you need to check out Green Mountain. It is a coast 2 coast park. Been there several times. Been by the White Lake cg on our way to SC but never stopped.

RE: Crock Pot - Ham Hock & Navy Bean Soup
I never soak my beans. Place ham bone in bottom of crock. Add beans on top. Add some cut up celery, carrots and onion. Salt and pepper. Cover with water. Cook on high about 5 hours. Check beans for doneness. I do not like mushy beans. If not done switch temp to low and cook til desired doneness. Gotta have some corn bread. I like mine fried in little patties. Delicious. Just made a huge pot camping last week and had 5 extra campers over for supper. This is a great meal and leftovers freeze well.
