Home by 1:00 pm today, RV generally cleaned up and emptied out...2 leagues of bowling tonite.
Scott (nephew) did well with our new kitten sitting, she seems fine and a little less crazy. Not sure if he ever even saw the other cat, Belle.
Thanks again to everyone for making this another success, hope everyone has made it home safe with new rally memories fresh on your minds...stay cool!

We hope to be on the road here from Sturbridge MA by 8 am, hopefully hitting DB no later than 1 pm...expecting delays somewhere even though it's only 200 miles from here.

Looks like we'll be missing our first Fall Rally, Barney is still feeling bad. We think he may need an endoscopy to retrieve something at the top of his stomach...actually that's the best scenario...if there's no foreign object it could be something more serious.
Either way I think we have to get something done today, I don't want to see him go through another night like this waiting for his X-ray reading from the radiologist.

Not a good outcome today at the vets...he has an "abnormal occurence" on his stomach, basically means they're not sure if he's ingested a foreign object or is the stomach being blocked by another organ, possibly the liver, or a tumor.
A radiologist will be examining the films tomorrow night, and we get blood results back tomorrow morning...either way it sure looks like our rally attendance will not be happening.
I guess depending on the outcome we possibly could come up Friday, just don't know enough yet.
Nancy was really looking forward to the adventure, and now this.
Either way, Rally On!

Our male cat Barney has something going on with him health wise, been lethargic and not eating since Saturday night, can't vocalize and gagging occasionally. We thought he might have had something in his throat or ate something he shouldn't have (not typical of him). Vet visit yeterday found nothing, gave him some fluids but he's acting the same today.
Hate to say it but this is jeopardizing our rally plans...going to try to get him back to the vet's today.

Looks like a change of plans...Instead of Tuesday, I think we might be heading
back on Monday...we are too...430 miles in one day...arrrgghhh! Also an option is to leave Sunday and get home earlier Monday, we'll see what develops.

We have been hoping to make it this year but I guess it's time to break down and admit it's not going to happen.
If anyone wants our site let me know ASAP because I need to cancel it by 9/22....? Not happy hearing this, sure you're not happy posting it.
Maybe we can stop overnight Thursday? I'll let you know as it gets closer.

Costco today, got some paper towels for the rally, styro bowls, bottled water, veggies...forgot the campfire peanuts...arrgghhh!
Karen, we'll be there to assist you in getting in/setting up in any way we can.
Anybody getting there Thursday? We are considering it, but for now looks like we'll get there Friday around 1:00 pm
