Issue with my PIRIT heated hose
PIRIT heated water hose,,,,,,
While at an RV show I passed a booth selling these hoses, my first thought "WHAT A GREAT IDEA", I purchased a 25ft hose. After returning home I found the same hose sold on Amazon, the reviews where less than flattering....Now I fully understand why....I DOES NOT WORK....who wants to spend good money on a product that has at least A 30% failure.....Never again.

Believe it or not VHB double sided tape is often used and avoids penetrations through the roof....

As most helpful posters stated, temp and heat pump efficiency is a concern, however you did nothing wrong and handled the situation appropriately . Let us know what the dealer has to say, good luck, have fun.....G
