RE: Nashville to Denver best route

I-24 is good out of Nashville north. Take that to I-57 and then north to I-64 at Mt. Vernon, IL. I-64 through St. Louis is the best route to take except for rush traffic times. I-64 connects with I-70 at Wentzville, MO and then it's west to Denver.

RE: Wheel chock recommendations

I have used Rotochocks with four different trailers and with different wheel spacings I now have three different sets of blocks that I can use if another trade happens. I have never had to re-tighten them after the first setting and always have to use force to get them apart when removing even after setting for a week or more. I always pull them to the furthest hole that I can for the pin when setting them the first time.

RE: Baltimore, MD RV Parks

We always stay at Ramblin Pines near Woodbine, MD which is about 20 minutes west of the beltway along I-70.

RE: Millington/Memphis (TN) to Branson

Actually the route through Conway, AR is 11 miles shorter than the 63 & 60 route. Take your pick.

RE: Millington/Memphis (TN) to Branson

Parts of US 63 in Arkansas have some curves but IMHO no problems, there are a lot of miles of newer 4 lane divided. US 160 in MO is very crooked and curvy. I am a self proclaimed hillbilly so I have pulled our 5r several times over 160 but lots of folks will tell you to avoid it. Us 60 from Cabool, MO to Springfield is all divided 4 lane and nice road.
We will be on this route in reverse (from Cabool to Memphis) this next Saturday.

RE: Millington/Memphis (TN) to Branson

Up I-55 and then hwy 63 North --> US 60 (west)--> US 65 (south)
That is the route I would take. Good roads and a lot of dual lanes.

RE: How Many Receivers Can Be Used With a Dish Tailgater

HOWEVER the Tailgater is a "Dome" class antenna (Dish 300 class) and this means that it can only see ONE satellite at a time.
Not true, the Tailgater logs on to 110, 119, & 129 (if in sight) for signals to the 211 receiver.

RE: TPMS ques

My TST system has been in use since 2008 and when not on the road our trailer is parked in our back yard a measured 75 feet away from our house. With the truck in our carport the receiver and regular small antenna still record the tire pressures consistently. The system came with an extended range antenna but it has never been used.

RE: Auxilliary Fuel tank

If your truck has the 38 gal tank then I agree but my CC SB came from the factory with only a 28 gal tank. I like the larger 50 gal capacity that I now have because I can stop for fuel when I want to and not because I have to.

Verizon voice mail

How do I access my voice mail from another telephone? I found out the "how to" some time ago but have since lost the instructions and I can't get the VZW help website to open.

RE: I29 Closed through Iowa

I-29 is closed in Missouri between Rock Port (hwy 136) and Iowa. The suggested detour northbound is to use I-35 north to Des Moines, IA and then I-80 west to I-680 and I-680 over to I-29. I-29 north of I-680 is open. I-29 in Missouri has been closed due to flooding since June 28.

The 50G Titan replacement tank is being installed next Tuesday at my Ford dealership. I will get them to reset the computer to accommodate the larger fuel supply.
Thanks all.
