RE: Severn, MD to Jellystone @ Luray VA

I'm very familiar with both routes. The 211 will be an easy ride until you have to cross over Skyline Drive. There are quite a few hairpin turns. Nothing that should deter you if you take your time. The I66/340 route is easy with the exception of the narrow bridges on 340. There are about 4 of them where you and another full-width vehicle (truck, or RV) can't pass on them. Most are at the bottom of a long hill. So just time it right and you'll be fine. I've done both ways pulling with my current configuration. No problems either way.
Have fun at the Luray Jellystone. It is by far our favorite "local" campground.

RE: Going to Dover PA near Gettysburg PA

There is quite a bit of small towns on 30 from I81. Also, if I remember right, there is a long uphill pull eastbound on 30 just east of 81. I'd take I81 to I70 east to US15 then north to US30. There is the same mountain range on 70 but the climb is much less steep.
That creek at the campground does flood easily. We were actually in one of those sites when it started rising. We had to pull out to higher ground. Thank goodness it was during the week and they had an open site.

RE: Dover PA to Bull Run Campground near Manassas VA

15 is a good road. I use US340 just south of Frederick, MD. You can take it to I66 and the ride is (in my opinion) a better ride.

RE: winterizing black tank flusher

I use one of these
Can be had for less than $20 at a RV supply store.
After I winterize the RV from the city intake, I just hookup to the rinser and push some pink in each one. I had bought a second one just to do the rinsers.

RE: campgrounds on 95 near Richmond? + or - 100 miles

Let me just say, the NASCAR race comes to Richmond next weekend. So if you are planning that trip, you definitly want to have reservations.

I see that you are coming from the north. We've stayed at Pocahontas SP. Great place, but just like all SP in Va, only water/electric. I think its only $35/night too. You could also check with the Fredericksburg KOA. They usually have spots open and are ~20 minutes north of I-295. We've been doing that for the Richmond race twice a year for a couple of years now. I would stay away from Hidden Acres.
