RE: Tow Dolly or hitch for toad???
My previous car (rx300) wasn't towable 4down and I wasn't about to sell it, and buy another car that would be towed only a few times a year when we went camping. Bought a Master Tow dolly with surge brakes and I was in business. Bought a new car (Acura RDX) that is front wheel drive and not towable 4down, but is also towable on the dolly. Towing 4down restricts what kind/type of vehicle you can buy and I only had to worry about a car being front wheel drive when buying.

Dad has gassers for many years and didn't have too many problems. After many travel trailers, I went straight for a DP and don't regret that decision to this day.

Tina and myself would like to thank everyone who came out to this years crazy POW WOW! It was nice seeing some old faces and meeting new ones. The weather was quite bizarre and neither rain or hail could stop the group from swimming in the pool and treking to the Trail of 100 Giants in 30 degree weather. Rain, snow and hail in June!!! It was nice meeting the Roofs and hope to see them in town.

FUN GROUP Pow Wow @ California Hot Springs May 25- 28, 2012
Once again, the FUN GROUP is planning an outing to California Hot Springs!!! Check out last years thread and the this years thread.
Would you like to camp with the FUN GROUP on MEMORIAL DAY weekend? The dates are May 25th > May 28th, 2012 at California Hot Springs. If you would like to go with us, please either PM or call me, as I have about 7-9 sites, depending on how quickly they get taken. The campsites are sold out every year and I have choice spots in a secluded culdesac (check out my pic link below). They are at the end and we are able to monopolize the area.
Check out California Hot Springs, website above for more specifics about California Hot Springs. We have been going there for many years and always have a great time. It is like taking a trip back in time to the Little House on the Prairie days. No cell phones, no stores, no gas stations, etc. Oh, and a pool that is 92 degrees all the time. The 2 spas are in the 100's !!!

That looks like a nice floorplan, except the lack of windows on the passenger/awning side .......when you are camping, the view is usually out the awning side (especially if you are parked parallel). Before I bought my first RV, a friend told me that his criteria was a dinette and windows on the awning side. I took his advice on the my last few RV's and was glad I did. Just something to think about.

Hey! ...and a wake up!
What times is everyone departing?
Are you taking the 65 north out of Bakersfield or are you staying on the 99 as far north as "Sierra Ave" past Delano?
Weather looks nice, chilly mornings, but should be pefect during the day.
Easiest way to go is up the 5 to the 99 and then take the 65 and turn right at the 56/Ducor intersection and then up the mountain!
Anyone else who wants to go, speak up now!!! :B

Movie night after dinner, an all age one to be specific.
Sunday potluck breakfast is optional.
UPDATE! I'm sending in all the monies and we'll have 2 spots left, just in case someone wants to go at the last minute. The owners are so nice, they aren't even charging us for them! (unless someone shows up)
