RE: 2012 Jayco Caulking

I don't know what anyone else uses but I have used GE acrylic silicone, that kind you can use in the shower, bath, etc. Water ready in 3 hours, comes in limited colors (clear, white, almond) mold & mildew resistant.Got it at HD & Lowes. So Far So Good !

RE: Help in picking camper

If I may thrown something in the mix, my son looked into a 233S,
3 bunks all queen size and 1 slide out, called WanaRV in Indiana, good prices too..worth possibly checking out.Sometimes looking into new if affordable rather than used may be a positive option (warranty/service,etc)

RE: changing tire size

# 1. As for planks, tried that more of a PITA than not,i have to back in on drivers side turning left as I go up driveway.
#2. I believe it will work, my neighbor has a 2010 Cougar similar to mine and he has 235/80r16 on his. Same axles, same clearance.I was just wondering for any other suggestions.....Thanks

changing tire size

hello everyone, two years ago I changed out 5 Mission tires to Maxxis M8008, these O.E. tires are 225/75R15 LRD, I've been very satisfied with the Maxxis. Ok,problem I have is pitch of my driveway, bottom of bumper & stabilizers sometimes scrap.I was thinking of changing to a 16" tire/wheel combo. I was thinking of either BFG or Maxxis and try to get a little height as well. LT235/80R16 LRE Maxxis or BFG Comm T/A- LT215/85R16, LT245/75R16 both LRE, any suggestions/advice from anyone who has done this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

15" wheels/tires to 16" wheels/tires

I know this question has probably been asked before, but here goes, I am thinking of upgrading from ST225/75R15 LRE to a 16" wheel/tire combo.I have looked at Sendel wheels and BFG Commercial TA tires, has anyone out there does this ? Do I have to go with ST 235/80R16 tires or can I get away with LT235/85R16 tires ? I have a 2009 Cougar 318sab it looks like I have height room. Any and all advise is appreciated.

RE: Maxxis tires

Same here too, tires were LR-D but when I replaced with Maxxis tires I checked the wheels, they were rated for 10ply (80psi).
