RE: Campground in Groveland, Ca.

Mother Lode Mobile Estates 532-3794 (209) is a Mobile Homepark / RV Park. They are in Sonora so a few miles away. The road on Priest Grade isn't that many miles but, will take you a bit to travel. Still, a fun road. I would ONLY take the road if you have a trailer (and you are leaving it at the Park.)
I know they have the big bike (Amgen) race coming up too.
Pine Crest and Pine Crest lake (Summer) are close too.
If you have kids that want to see it, Columbia is close.
I'm sure if you search there is more.

Sealant - Roof Sealing

Got up on the haulers roof today and put a little sealant in one spot that showed some ware. Got some rains coming so, wanted to check / repair the trailer if needed. I don't think it needed it but, had to have the sealant open for a friend who did need it so, figured might as well. . .
Now, we are expecting rain for the next 5+ days. . . It has been dry all month though.
Used Di-core Non-self leveling sealant (since it wasn't just going on flat surfaces. Time to get another tube now (seems like I should always keep one around.
My Solar still looked good.
Overall, I was pleased with the looks of the roof.

RE: Generator tank transfer back to fuel station?

I wouldn't worry that much. . . If the pump has 1/2" connections and you put on a 3/8 valve it should be fine for a while. Just go full ports if you have to buy the valve. . . No need in cutting youself short. . .

RE: Generator tank transfer back to fuel station?

Be sure to get a valve that is suitable for Gasoline Service.

RE: Generator tank transfer back to fuel station?

I added a small 3-way valve and ran some tubing over for the feul station. . .
Basically,
Fuel Tank - - - - - -
(never mind this) 3 way valve - - Filler Pump - - - Fill Line
Generator Tank- - -
So, the Three Way Valve either sees fuel from the Fuel tank or From the Generator Tank.

RE: ATV's in the Snow

I'ld want the ones that are tire replaxements. This way you could put them on after the RZR is removed from your truck. . .
I'm sure they would rent every weekend guring the winter here. It would be fun for sure to go to the hills with them.
Those tracks run about $4k-plus for a set. Plus, I imagine there must be a bunch of work to install and then take off---- would it be worth it for a weekend of riding? Although I'll bet they are a blast.

RE: Greetings/question for the forum

Will the trailer have slideouts???
Are you looking to haul it with a dually?
If you go used, check the trailers roof well. Get up there and walk around. It could look fine but, could have soft spots. . . The roof is the most likely spot to be damaged.

RE: Greetings/question for the forum

Is it just that WW outsold everyone by that much???
Is it that people have a hard time due to the bankruptcy. Do you blame the owner for the BK? (Because I don't and would have declared BK too given the economy and the type of business they are.)
I love my trailer and at the time the trailer was a custom. . . That WW did. (I say this because at the time few would do custom things like this.)
We love that we can haul the garage but, the trailer is lighter do to the lack of slides so we can run our 2500 without problems.
I would check the trailer for any water leaks (primarily) but, if it looks good with the economy right now, you should get a good deal.
Look at the top of the forum for "WW Repairs" thread, you'll figure out which ones had problems and which ones haven't.

Well, things have changed. . . He is looking at turning it into the bank. . .
Good info though. You guys are great for sharing the info. Thanks a bunch. (I say this as I think about sealing up my trailer again.)
How much do you think an LE3505 (2005) is worth???
Thanks again for ALL your help.

RE: Front end Water Damage

ok. I'll plan on getting it apart and seeing what the thinkness is of the Luan and get a replacement. I'm sure we'll have to replace some of the cross members too. Is the roofing glued all the way across or only on the edges? Is it relatively easy to remove the roofing? Does that piece peel up easily? Again this is for a Weekend Warrior.

RE: Front end Water Damage

Oh, there is a water leak. In fact, you can hear the water slosh around in there. Luan is that real bendy board stuff right?
Can you get that from other than a hardwood wholesaler???
I think he and I are going to have to peel up that siding/roofing and re-do the inside the WHOLEthing. . .
