RE: Sewer Pipe Bracket - where can I get one?

Why do you need a new one? The old one (bent back into shape) is still fine...you just need a new set of holes.

Remember insulation is just the trapping/making of air space, the more air pockets there are the better the insulator.
Um, well, yeh, sure...half the story anyway.

RE: Is Rving for us? Are we alone or are there others....

What is wrong with you? Are you just a follower by nature? Do what YOU both prefer and who cares what everyone else is doing.
Why would you buy the condo at St. Pete and go up to Clearwater? I just got back from St. Pete Beach and loved it by the way. It did get a little more busy from what I remember ten years ago.

RE: Filters for Ford diesel 6.0

A raptor 299MP would be perfect!
That is if you can find a 2007 model...!

RE: Filters for Ford diesel 6.0

Just my 2 cents - I get them from the dealer. In the case of this truck, the OEM filters are actually built better than others. I know in many "normal" vehicles that's not the case. This is a "heavy duty" truck with a roughly $15,000 motor, I'm not going to risk damage to save a couple of bucks on the filters.
I've had mine since 2005, it has 120,000 miles and almost no problems (or modifications). My mechanic is a fleet mechanic who works on ONLY the Ford 6.0. I am following his recommendation here.
I have confirmed the OEM rotors and pads are better after paying for and chewing up Napa Gold pads and rotors in less than 15,000 miles. I'm back to the OEM ones now.
I do love the truck, tows even my trailer with ease.
What he said...!

RE: Pulling 40' toy hauler

Back to OP's question - there is no comparison between a SRW and DRW for towing. Trust me!
That IS a true statement, that not all of us have the means to follow through on...as our TV is the daily driver and NOT willing to have it be a DRW for whatever reason.

RE: Aftermarket second ac and 3 season wall question

Why all the aftermarket questions? This isn't the stereo in your Pinto for God's sake. Order it the way you want it. It WILL cost you LESS in the long run...IMHO of course.

RE: wheel bearings

Don't use bearing buddies, they will blow the rear seals out and grease will get on your brakes.
White Lithium wheel bearing grease here.
X2 -- I've seen the results.
X3. Even though I was very careful in spinning the wheel and using very little pressure, it still went past the seals.
It's a great idea but they don't work.
If you pump them past full, where do you think the grease is going to go? You can't just blindly keep adding grease. They aren't magic.

RE: First Haul

Sounds like you did very well! Congratulations on your first trip.
Lane changes and merging onto a freeway are always challenges...most folks will give way if signal your intent and you make it clear that you are going to merge no matter what. ;)
My thoughts exactly...Signal, look, count to 10, and start to move over...
They all want to cut you off and get in front, just like you would, but like their ride more.
You do have to make sure they notice you are "on the way over" and give them the chance to make amends for their earlier transgressions…Cheers and happy pullin’
