RE: How to hold a spot when camping

I just leave the wife sitting in a chair. Works every time.

Uprade to tile floor

We have just bought a 06 Monaco Camelot and want to replace the carpet in the living and dinette area with tile. Would like to hear from anyone who has done that upgrade and especially if you had it done in Tuscon, AZ Thank you,

RE: Sani-Con Replacement Parts

If you google "Sani-Con parts" you will find a number of places that have Sani-con parts.

RE: odometer reading

I had a 89, 97, 03 Nisson Sentra, a 2010 Honda Fit and none of them record mileage while being towed. New odometers are electronic, no longer have a cable hooked to drive shaft. Tow and go, don't worry.

RE: Honda Fit

I had my 2010 Fit set up last year in Tuscon, AZ with a Roadmaster FAlcon all terrain tow bar, Roadmaster base plate and wired for approx. $1,700.00 parts and labor.

RE: MCD Duo Day Night Shades ?

Thinking about ordering a new Cameo trailer, and they have an option of MCD Duo Day Night Shades, we have looked at some pictures and videos on the net but have not found a trailer to see them in in person, do any of you folks seen them or have any experience with them. Have seen the MCD shades and was impressed with them. I have the older type day/night shades and find them to be a pain. Next RV will have the MCD. Fewer problems and much easier to use.

RE: Removing Salt From Water

The salts in the water are calcium and magnesium. Water is considered hard when it has 10 grains of calcium/gallon, extra hard at 12 grains. Yuma water comes in at about 18 to 20 grains. Don't believe he is going overboard on the "salt thing". I have a whole house RO system in my motor home. Nice to have clear ice w/o******left in the glass when it melts. No need to wipe down the shower every time, no clogged screens on my faucets, no need to flush the water heater a couple times a year. On and on. Got my system at Interstate Water in Yuma. With my system I get about 2 gallons per hour for refilling my tank. Bought my system a couple years ago for about $180.00. 45 minutes to install.

RE: TC boondocking in Plumas County (CA)?

I boondocked in Chandler, AZ last week. In a nice community - house was for sale - electricity was still on. Ran a 50' 10-3 electric cord and parked in the street in front of the house. All the neighbors were friendly and smiled as they walked by with their dogs, etc.! It is bad enough that you are a thief but it's even worse that you are dumb enough to brag about it. Where did I say I did not have permission? ...and Dolph, you are like so many other people on the Internet, you read a post, and without all the facts, you judge and execute someone immediately. Now that is dumb! I notice that you left that part out like you were looking for a response like mine. Otherwise you would have made that clear in your post. All I can say is Vescere bracis meis.

RE: Campsite suggestions for Ruidoso or Cloudcroft needed!

Second on Circle B. When I was there in 09 it was the only park with paved streets.

RE: Wintering over in Arizona

When you do find a place without Valley Fever don't try to drive there, 43,000 +/- deaths/year, or walk, 4,000 +/- pedestrian deaths/year.

RE: Wintering over in Arizona

You might also avoid places where the earth may open up and giant worms come out and eat people. Over 50,000 snowbirds show up in Yuma every Winter. They aren't afraid to live life.
