Powerhouse PH3100Ri Gensets

I see where camping world has the above generator listed. I bought a champion last year for 299.00 at 4000 watt and it runs my Ac, bu this is not a quiet as a Honda. They say this will run a 13,500 BTU AC unit. At 1200 dollars i am hoping that Honda will be forced to come down on their price so i can buy one. Is this another cheap chinese knock off? Love my Champion for what i paid. Love to buy a honda but cant afford three grand.

RE: 2011 Chev Dually Tire Pressure

Funny thing is my 3/4 ton said 65 in the front and 80 in the rear and I thought we were going to crash. 9500 lb camper. front had so much sway I thought I had a flat. Stopped and checked all the tires and then put 80 in the front it drove great. 65 in the front with the weight of the camper caused the tires to roll sideways and flex way to much. 80 all around was perfect.

RE: How long will the water stay good in my fresh water tank

Ice in a black tank and we use pinesol works great. ice cleans the inside and pinsol keeps it slick and minty fresh. get to your camp side and dump. We do this every two months.

RE: On my way from oklahoma to yellowstone

Last big trip with my 15 year old son. Need to be more in town at Jackson Hole and Estes Park. Or at least close to fishing along the river. Estes Park has many RV parks, one close to the entrance of the scenic drive and water would be great.

RE: Tulsa RV Park

Funny but I live here in Tulsa and would not stay here. EXPO park is your best bet. But, Casino in claremore is great, 30 minutes from Tulsa. Osage hill in Bartleville is excelent 30 miles or so from Tulsa with Franks Phillips house and Museum as added atractions. I really live in Sand Springs and checked out the RV park there. Not what I expected. cramped and no real view. Cherokee Casisno in Catoosa which is 15 minutes from Tulsa dry camp, excelent food and facilities and i dont gamble. Good Luck,

RE: black water occasionaly in fresh water faucet

what is funny is there is debris. just like tea. no small chunks or floaties. Is it possible the water pump is going bad and is there any oil in that pump?

RE: Schlitterbahn in Kansas City

I looked and found cottonwood, have done that in the past then arrived to find a poopy rv park. I've learned that you can take great pictures of any park and post them on line. I like people who have stayed there and how clean it is.

RE: Generators

I bought a champion 4000 peak and will run everything and AC, cost was 299. and 63 db at 23 feet. Champion are a chinese knock off, very popular and affordable. Not as loud as a contractor type but DEFINATLY not as quiet as a Honda. If your rich of have money by the Honda 3000 and you cant even hear it run.

RE: New 30 amp repl. plug is to big for trailer storage cont.

I looked briefly online at these. So they mount on the side of the camper and then the cable just plugs into the side. So I should have looked into that.

New 30 amp repl. plug is to big for trailer storage cont.

Son of a Frog Leg. Replaced the bad plug on my 30 foot sprinter with a brand new Camco bright yellow plug. opened it up, put the wires neatly inside and epoxied the connections solid. waited the 30 minutes, sealed the unit and the darn thing wont fit in the factory round holder. so I have this big yeelow thing hanging out of the box with the snap down lid and im sure it will beat against the trailer going down the road. Any way to secure this to the body or underbody or what have you done?

RE: Water system and bleach?

I always drain during the winter. There will always a little condesation and mold/bacteria that will grow in any water. even clorinated water will go bad ONCE exposed to air. Especially during the summer months when i dont go during eh hotest two months July and August.
