RVs are like automobiles. Theres a lemon and a defect in all brands. There are several members here with the Pinnacle models maybe they'll chime in. If not checkout the Jaycoowners forum.

I would keep it under 9800 max. Used to have that same truck, 2500 with 6.0. That will be all it wants.

Roof coating
I want to recoat my rubber roof. Some caulking cracking but rubber membrane still seems soft but just looks bad. I would like a coating thats not white. Maybe a beige color. Has anyone color tinted any of the coatings on the market?

The first route is a much more scenic drive. The hwy 6 area is called Rockfish (remember the Waltons) this is were that series was themed from. Do as I do, go one way and comeback another. As your alternate rt. do 81 back to roanoke and take 220 to martinsville and hit 58 back over to Danville then 86 back to 40. These are more scenic routes. The interstates are boring.

What NC needs or anywhere on the east coast needs is more open camping like they do over on the PCH out west....
When ?I was young. You could camp on the beach at Fort Fisher. No more, as the dunes started taking a beating.
Were lucky we can walk on some of our beaches much less camp. Some of these groups are alittle overboard about the habitate.

Sounds if you need a change. Myrtle beach is about the cheapest coastal spot. Kinda explains alot but once a year is enough for me. Those big campgrounds are like staying in a big hotel. If you gotta stick with MB try the state park or Huntington island. I'm kinda partial to the NC OBX myself.

Check out Ghost Town in Maggie Valley. Good for the kids. This is a good first trip for you. If you can upgrade to a concrete pad site. If not don't sweat it. Just enjoy.

Just head south down 17 business to Murrels Inlet. Lots of excellent seafood restaunts. Had dinner there last night. Couple of my favs are Nances, Flos and Drunken Jacks. All these are ok to take the family.
