RE: Question on Leases

RE: Speed Cameras

I think if a camera can apprehend dead beat dads and people with outstanding warrants then they are probably a good idea.

RE: Want to Try SW FL Next Year

With the price of fuel going up,they might not even be crowed next year.Even this year there were a lot of empty spaces in most parks. Not here.... RE: availability of rv campgrounds

Scott Reisland, the owner of Denali Grizzly Bear Resort, said he's seen the changes firsthand. RV traffic has plummeted so much in the past decade that he closed a 98-space park near Denali National Park at the end of last summer. Only a second RV park he owns, with just 24 spaces, will reopen. Read more here...

RE: Chainsaw

I bought a Homelite Super XL new in 1974,had the store add a 24 inch bar and voided the warranty before I left the store. When it was 20 years old one of the bolts that hold the piston cylinder on snapped off, never fixed it, cut stove wood and cabin logs, I love that old saw. PS think i paid about 130$ for it,with a case.

RE: Roadside Assistance

I have used Progressive for years, own a Conversion Coach and use their 11$ per month Roadside Assistance, have had every vehicle I own towed or flat tires changed, 3 axle hvy wreckers and roll backs. I never waited more than an hour. Once in Blackwell,TX,,,,,,Buffalo/Oakwood,TX,,,,and west of Santa Rosa,NM I am very happy with their service up to this point and anticipate another happy 10-20 years.

RE: The "Me" Generation -- Rant

One thing that bugs me more than anything when in a supermarket or anywhere else that uses carts is when someone leaves there cart and walks away from it. To leave your cart and go to another aisle is just plain rude. Your wife's cart is blocking the way. If two people come down the aisle from separate directions, there is no one there to move her car out of the way. Very few stores have enough room for 3 carts to go down an aisle side by side. Yes, what the other woman did was rude, even more rude that she didn't give the cart back, but not all young people act this way. -Michael Oh for petes sake...the two opposing carts can surely figure out how to get past each other, surely you don't think people are that stupid.

RE: Pun time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they opened up a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival florist across town thought the competition was unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. He went back and begged the friars to close. They ignored him. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart, the roughest and most vicious thug in town to "persuade" them to close. Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't close up shop. Terrified, they did so. Thus proving that: Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars.
