RE: RV Beginner

My question is which of these are high quality, built with better materials eg steel frames, better insulation, quality workmanship High quality won't exist in a 30' Class A. Quality starts at around 40'. See right there you will see a lot of disagreement. It is the old dieselees against the gassers. I personally have a 33 foot long gasser, and have had it since new and have had no major problems, but I have read on these forums of new Diesel rigs with major engine & windshield problems in new rigs. I am not anti-diesel, I also have a diesel truck that would pull anything I hooked to it, and do it with ease and economy around 20 miles to the gallon. It is up to you ultimately, nothing we say here will change that. If you buy a new rig, no matter what, you will lose money at the end of 11 months. Look for a used rig either gasser, gas is cheaper than diesel here in the U.S., around 25 to 50 cents a U.S.gallon. For instance, right now at this station I pulled up in Flint Michigan Regular 87 octane gasoline is $3.79 per gallon and diesel is $4.09 a 25 cents difference per gallon.

RE: Fuel Consumption Down A Bumpy Freeway

The last time I was in California(the 70s),the roads of California made the best back here seem like old logging trails. What happened?
