Best route from Hot Springs, AR to Oklahoma City, OK?
We will be visiting Hot Springs, Arkansas next week, then heading toward Oklahoma City. I wondered what the best route from Hot Springs back to I-40 would be for our 42' motorhome. I am looking at Hwy 270 from Hot Springs to 71, connecting to I-40 in Fort Smith (we are fulltimers, so not in a big hurry). Anyone taken this or have a better idea?

RE: Lubing knife gate valve pull handle
For what it is worth, I have used the Zerk addition on the last two coaches I have had. Works great -- valves work very smoothly and in 3 years of use on the prior coach, I had no problems at all with any valve deterioration due to the grease used with the zerk fitting. Given that this mod took all of about 15 minutes to do all three valves, I consider it a great deal. Here is a link showing the steps I used to install -- Grease fittings on valves
