If light was on , on switch after motor was turned off, I would think you still have power to switch.

Salt lake City to me is the worst place to drive.I now drive down Road 93 in Nevada when I go south. Prior to leaving on any long trip I also use google map and look for ramp exits and numbers. I found it makes a big difference.I know in advance when to turn instead of making a last second decision.

I travelled it last year. A good road and low traffic. It was pointed out to me that it is much more comfortable travelling with out a lot of traffic.I will travell it again next time I go south for the winter.

I have the brake buddy system on my toad. I did not put it on because of laws/Insurance. I put it on for peice of mind/safety. I find it helps.

Hair dryer and plastic scraper or putty knife. This how I did mine on a trailer. Worked well.

My slides work with engine running. Thats the way I always extend slides.The emergency brake has to be on before extending slides, same with jacks.

About a years ago One Canadian died while following GPS. It took him on a back road in Navada. His body was never found. His wife survived by staying in the car. My suggestion is to also consult a map.

I have dish mounted on roof and a portable Vu Qube. Both work well. Trees are a problem with roof mount,but Vu Qube you can move around.best of both worlds.

I love my toad. I would not leave home without it.It gives me freedom to move around easily with out moving MH. If you can aford it buy a second hand vehical just for a toad. My cost for set up was $1000 for set up. All second hand stuff.

I had one installed in Arizona last year. I watched but seriously, I would not do it myself. There trained and can do it in a hour or so. Instalation was included in price of unit. Yes you could do it for what its worth.
